Stayed here for 1 night. Stayed in the South tower and was upgraded due to my titanium status Location is superb as it is in the heart of Vancouver and about a 15-20 minute walk to the waterfront. Rooms are pretty outdated and is due for a makeover.

Prior to our arrival, I received an email from Eden who made arrangements to make our stay at the hotel very special for my Grandson's 12th birthday. He loved his personal surprise. Everyone from the valet parking attendants, the reception, the concierge and even the cleaning lady went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The family room we booked was an unusual configuration which worked perfectly for myself, my daughter and grandson.

I came here to give a huge shoutout to Zahir Negaz! He is the Lead Engineer and one of the most helpful people I have met in a long time. Zahir went out of his way to help me get my huge truck parked in the garage. I was super nervous because of the size of my truck and didn't think it would fit but he assured me it would. He went on his way, and I slowly made my way down to P3. When I came around the corner, there was Zahir waiting for me to guide me to a good spot. He then showed me where to pay and how to get where I was going WHILE carrying some of my belongings. I'm sure this was not his job. He went way out of his way to help me. I'm so grateful for his kindness!! So wonderful to see such amazing customer service. Thank you Zahir!!

Overall, everything was very good until I went to their restaurant for breakfast. At the beginning atmosphere was pretty suppressive and unwelcoming. We felt like no one is happy to see you there and I had to wait for 5 minutes until they allocate a waitress for me. We’ve got some Ukrainian girl, I think whose name was Kateryna. At the beginning it had just pretty cold interaction, just “hi” with no asking how are you and the following “what’s your order for today?”. I’ve been in many restaurants and for this kind of hotel I believe something is wrong either with the culture there, or with people who they are hiring. After this not welcoming experience I left appropriate amount of tips, and the face of waitress was just indescribable… after she took the payment it was clearly visible how she is walking to the colleague to discuss the customers. Terrible behaviour and interaction. Never go back to this hotel.

Thank you to Miss Paige & Sir Ahmet & the team, I am so grateful for making our stay special and memorable. Also, a big thank you to Celine at the front desk and to Twinqle at the lounge for accomodating us. You all are the best!!! I strongly recommend Sheraton Wall Centre.
