We paid extra for the level package experience and it was good for cocktails, however, we booked melia because we read it had the best food and that was not true, the food quality was meh, breakfast buffet... was the best option for eating.. Getting room service which was included with the Level was always gross, over cooked eggs and not a lot of options. The wifi only worked in the lobby area and not in the rooms. The best part of the trip was the view.

Luis & Smailey in the buffet serving area were absolutely amazing and made our experience special by going above and beyond everytime they were there. They are truly an asset to their teams and provide exc...ellent customer service all the time. Everyone on the vacation greatly enjoyed being served by them and they stood above everyone else and stood out with their excellent service

We stayed at The Melia international Varadero resort for our family of 4 for March Break. This was our 4th time in Cuba and it won't be our last. The Melia International Varadero is by far our favorite ...resort in CUBA. The staff and service was amazing. We stayed in The Level, our concierce was Dayami. Dayami was super helpful, always a smile, people person and made sure that everything was perfect. She went above and beyond to make sure that our À La Carte were reserved to our needs and that we were well taken care of. We are hoping to return to this resort in the near future. Thank you Dayami for your excellent service & Melia International Varadero for making our family vacation so special!!!

From the start of the entire trip was horrible. Waited in line for an hour only to be pushed over to a different desk. Once I was at a different desk. I was told I had to do the online check-in process. My...self service was bad was ripped off for money Through their in bank exchange. They charged 50% on top of what the standard exchange rate is food was bad overall room condition was bad no hot water for 15 to 20 minutes when trying to shower would never stay at this hotel even if it was for free would rather sleep on the beach.
