If you visit memories jibacoa and need a Taxi I can’t recommend Humberto Mesa enough!! He was great took us to Havana looking for cigar for a very reasonable price. We made 7 stops and he was fantastic too...k us deal with. He had very good English and knew all the stops off the beaten trail.
Glad we had no expectations, was not disappointed

Rooms are very dated and are in need of some major repairs. I think they over sold the Premium Plus. Our rooms were previously normal rooms, you could tell the signs were changed outside our room, but la...beled as Premium Plus. Nothing Premium about our rooms. Room was cleaned daily and was great service there. I enjoyed the beach even though the red flag was up most of the week. Food was good for Cuba, but service was mediocre at best, even when tipping well. We were in building 15, and if you know where the Premium Plus section of the beach is, our Premium plus rooms couldn’t be any further from it. This was our first trip to Cuba, but won’t be our last, but will go to other resorts.
