Memories Jibacoa Shines Bright on Our 8th Visit We recently spent 2 weeks at the enchanting Memories Jibacoa resort in Cuba for our eighth visit, and it was nothing short of magical. This all-inclusiv...e haven, nestled between lush mountains and a picturesque beach with great snorkeling continues to captivate us. Warm Welcome and Efficient Check-in Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for our stay. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, allowing us to quickly settle in and start enjoying the resort's amenities. It is obvious that the staff know their guests are travel weary, they do everything to make it a great check-in experience. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is a hallmark of Memories Jibacoa's exceptional service. Thanks to the reception staff and to Xavier our porter. Thanks to Orayls, and Danieles for their warm greetings and the endless hot cappuccinos and, to Daniel and Rosemary for the evening beverages. Truly, each and every MJ server/ bartender was outstanding! Delicious Dining Experience Our first stop was the lunch buffet, which did not disappoint. The variety and quality of the food were as impressive as ever, offering a delightful blend of local Cuban flavours and international cuisine. The buffet's selections catered to all tastes, ensuring that everyone found something tasty to eat. We liked to sit in Neyda and Janet's section with Osley and Yenoli who provided wonderful service, but truly we had outstanding service in all sections. We also had delicious meals at the a la carte restaurants. At Le Gourmet, I had as good a steak as I've ever had in any restaurant ever, (no exaggeration I really did!). Also, I had lobster twice at no extra cost, it was on the menu. We were delighted to see Heide, Juan Miguel and all the other friendly staff that we've met before. We enjoyed the piano man with a new to us, singer, they really add a touch of class in a beautiful restaurant. The wine was really good in the buffet and restaurants. Refreshed Accommodations Our room had been beautifully refreshed, with crisp linens and super comfortable beds, we slept very well. Shout out to Katy and her holiday replacement (whose name I didn't catch). They were very nice and kept our room spotless. Vibrant Entertainment The entertainment team at Memories Jibacoa truly shine. They create an atmosphere of fun and excitement throughout the day, with activities that cater to all interests. We enjoyed the daily bingo, aqua fit, and yoga. We took a craft class and a fascinating Cuban history lesson. I won a bottle of rum with my toss of horseshoes on the beach! Special mentions to Yendry, Jordie, Marcos, Bryan and Nelson for keeping us happy and involved. Don't miss Cuban Day at the beach on Fridays ! Kiki and the entertainment team make it a very special day, and boy can they dance. Shout out to Gilles the Gardiner and to Jordan the pool lifeguard who have the best smiles ??. The evening shows are marvelous, I especially loved Opera night under the full moon and the bands/solo guitarist in the lobby each evening. We usually ended our day in the lively piano bar with Royge, the fabulous guitarist, he has a wonderful repertoire, and we all went crazy for his Tragically Hip songs. It's always a fun time, and a great place to make friends. The drinks in the bar are fantastic. The Heart of the Resort: The Staff What truly makes Memories Jibacoa stand out is its incredible staff. Their dedication, warmth, and genuine hospitality are the resort's greatest assets. The staff's commitment to ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience is evident in every interaction. Kiki, Manager of Guest relations, is always around with a joke and a smile and can make all dreams come true. But really his job isn't that difficult because every member on staff is top notch! It's comforting to know there is a doctor in the house 24/7. The Resort: The size and design of this resort is absolutely perfect. The gardens are beautiful and the path from the lobby to the beach is breathtaking. The resort is compact and so easy to get around. If you forget your hat/glasses/book in the room it's no bother to go back to get them. In conclusion, it's easy to see that my husband and I love, love, love Memories Jibacoa. It remains a timeless gem in Cuba's hospitality landscape. Its unique blend of natural beauty, excellent service, and engaging activities makes it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway. I never hesitate to recommend Memories Jibacoa to others and we look forward to returning again soon! ?? P.S. We had a great time at Memories Jibicoa. Our room was fantastic. The ocean view room was worth every penny. If you are able to...take the walking tour (free) up the mountain. The view up there is breathtak...ing. We met some wonderful people while there. The staff was amazing (YORDY). The food was plentyfull. Best experience in Cuba so far for us. We are leaving in 2 days to visit this wonderful resort again!!!

The staff was attentive and excellent! The programs were sufficient; the food was more than adequate with lots of variety and delicious. The landscaping was like one imagines heaven to be. We were thoroug...hly delighted with the whole experience.

We really loved our stay in this adult only resort 45 mins away from Havana. Rooms were immaculate, spacious with great air con and great service. We had a ocean view and it was great. I found all the rest...aurants served a really good selection of food which is well cooked and the chef was amazing. TStaff. Staff are always smiling, more than happy to help and the results achieved here can porve it. Nothing is too much for them to help with. We had a day trip to Havana which was a real eye opener. The beach has a coral reef with great snorkelling and sucha agreat diving team. It’s a great venue and a lovely place to spend two weeks. We’d definitely go back. Thanks Memories Jibacoa. My husband and I visited this resort a week before Christmas 2024. As soon as we walked into this resort it felt like home! The atmosphere,the staff, and everything else were amazing! We met one staff memb...er in particular named Yordy who went out of his way to make our visit more memorable!! He was even able to teach my husband and little Spanish which is a miracle lol. Overall we rate this resort 10/10. We are visiting again in March and we can't wait to experience this amazing place again!!
