Sol Palmeras will be continuing the remodeling of their guest rooms. Once the remodeling of the initial 164 rooms is completed, they will begin the second stage on July 1, 2024 with the renovation of another 136 rooms in the main building.
The work is being done in phases and taking into account complete blocks of the building that will be isolated to minimize guest disruption.
Completion of the project is expected by April 30, 2025

The resort was beautiful, well maintained and cared for. The staff was extremely helpful and very hard working, always with a smile.One person in particular, Dayana in Customer Relations, went above and beyond to make our vacation special. She was always there to help with reservations and suggestions for outings. If there was an issue, she was sure to get it fixed.

Sol Palmeras has great entertainment and an Animacion team that keeps you active and smiling. A big high five to Reniel and Miriam who made all the activities enjoyable. Dayana, from Customer Service was exceptional. She anticipated our every need and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Thank you Dayana. I have been to Cuba 10x, at various resorts throughout the island. The people are suffering because of the shortages. In January, I stayed at the Melia Las Americas. The food and alcohol were better there then, however, unavailability of food and alcohol may be more of an issue now as there seemed to be less variety at Sol Palmeras. Having said this, I could always find something to eat and drink. Melia's beach has been washed out by the hurricanes this year. Sol Palmeras still has an amazing beach, a lovely welcoming staff and a nightlife. You can fix infrastructure but cannot create a great beach or make staff be kind, loving and warm. We were made to feel welcome and included in the Sol Palmeras family.
