We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at this waterfront hotel. Hotel has many rooms with bay windows overlooking Victoria’s inner harbor and right across one can see BC Parliament. Hotel itself is very w...ell maintained, very clean. Exterior of the hotel looks great. Our room was quite spacious offering water views. Bed and pillow quality was fabulous. After lot of walking and sightseeing, we enjoyed the nice pool and Jacuzzi. What I missed though that hotel does not really offer good buffet breakfast. On-site restaurant LURE has limited vegetarian choices, maybe it should add few Indian and Middle eastern cuisines. Now the most important part is the front desk service. I was extremely impressed by “Charlene” who was so polite, thoroughly professional and patiently answered all my questions while keeping pleasant smile. I also would like to acknowledge “Max “who took time and took us to the top floor of the hotel to show harbor with all the lights. Indeed, it was a great view.

Beautiful hotel at a great location. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Hotel staff was very professional. However, the bar was a hot mess, and I am being kind. My husband and I ha...ve a travel tradition to have a nightcap in the hotel bar. We waited and waited for the bartender. While waiting, we couldn't help not notice the dirty dishes along the bar, disorganized glasses, and scattered bottles all over the place. Sadly, the condition of the bar made us question the restaurant as well. We were going to order a second round of drinks but got tired of waiting.

Clean room (no carpet) and had a nice bay view. Great facility and location if you don’t mind the easy 1/2 mile walk to downtown. Bonvoy Titanium member, and found the lounge very lacking for breakfast, sn...acks, evening hors d'oeuvres, and drinks. For the loyalty of 25 years with this brand they should step this up!

We had a great time at the Ocean Pointe on a recent trip to Victoria. The hotel grounds are really well kept and maintained. The restaurant and bar are great with a casual, elegant ambience (shoutout to Sw...ade in the bar, who's one of the best, most skilled, friendly bartenders I've seen!). And the location and proximity to downtown was perfectly walkable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again next time we're in Victoria.
