Great location, large room., tiny bathroom, had to change rooms on arrival as not as reserved. Most annoying.

Disappointed with initial check-in, reserved harbor view, not a barge view. They moved us to a somewhat better view with the smallest bathroom ever encountered. Restaurant rather dark. High Tea nothing special compared to Butchart Garden High Tea. Great location, reception staff not very welcoming. Bellmen, great.

Our stay at Fairmont Empress was truly unforgettable! The staff were magnificent, especially the Gold Team: · Yaya · Irwin · Sonal · Thaina · Jiayi · Nao · Emily · Grace They went above and beyond to make us feel special and attended to our every need. The amenities were top-notch and impressive. We celebrated my husband's birthday and our babymoon, and Michelle from reception was exceptional in her attention to detail and warm hospitality. Thank you, Fairmont Empress, for an extraordinary experience! We can't wait to return!"
