Stay away from the Divi!

This is my seventh time at the Divi hotels. This year I’m traveling with a handicap from back surgery. We booked over a year in advance. We call before coming to confirm a first floo room. When we arrived we were told only 3rd floor available, front desk said nothing they could do, and continently no manage there at that time! Really 4 pm no manager. Then trying to get a shuttle, because I couldn’t walk was even more of a nightmare. The bellman would call and call, the shortest wait was just under an hour, most times even more! Complained to desk and they told me the shuttle was a privilege, WTF, then get ride of them and take it off my bill. I’m done with this hotel, they are not in the people business, they’re only concerned about what they can take you for!

This is our first trip to this resort and we loved it, the grounds are beautiful. I own 2 weeks here but we usually stay at one of the sister resorts closer to the beach. We had a studio but it felt like a 1 bedroom, it had 2 full bathrooms looked like it was recently renovated it was across the parking lot from the infinity pool. we tried the breakfast onsite and it was great. we had dinner at one of the other restaurants and it was also good. we ventured across the street to the beach bar again great atmosphere and good food. we will definitely be back we only stayed here 3 days and we loved it very relaxing.
