We have been coming to El Cid La Cieba for years together as a big family. The staff is wonderful and the food is just delicious!! The activity director Roger was just wonderful, very engaging and had lots... of fun things for everyone to do. What a special guy he is! Ruby the beach server was fantastic, so friendly and attentive. The service was spot on! We had a wonderful time as always! The rooms could use a refresh but they were always clean and cool. Great place to stay!

This place was great Roger was awesome with the activities I would stay again the resort was clean and the people were friendly the pool the bar and beach are easy to access the activities we fun and engag...ing I had a great ocean view and the drinks were strong and flowing

The hotel was really nice with very friendly staff with and the ocean view room with the stunning view of the Cozumel Channel - Gulf of Mexico was breathtaking, in addition the water conditions for diving... the clarity and the life under water was phenomenal. The hotel had daily events from live music to dancers, the food were all delicious. The staff at the dive shop was very helpful and very aware of the surroundings while diving especially Gabo the new PSS instructor. I would definitely go back and enjoy a trip to this hotel and do more dives with the dive shop!!!

Excellent staff and service. They are welcoming and accommodating and always working to improve the experience. This is my second time at El Cid. As a SCUBA I find the dive shop excellent and the staff ...top notch. I strongly recommend this resort to anybody but especially for divers.

More than a resort, El Cid is a home away from home. Excellent guest services. The delicious food offered at their restaurant is a high point but the services offered by their in-house SCUBA dive center (...Babieca Dive Center) are also world-class. You can tell when a resort is managed by people who care to offer a five star service, it shows in every detail around the facilities. If the hotel staff can do it for you, they will. Location is great, the quality of he SCUBA diving is amazing, and the rooms are clean, spacious and safe. Highly recommended.
