We held an event at the Swim and Social Club there at Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador, and it was a huge success! Big shoutout to the team there, especially Tanden and Sarah for making things so smooth. Our guests enjoyed the food from My Favorite Son and the cocktails were on point. If you ever want to host an event for 50-100 people in a casual but fun atmosphere in Waikiki, I recommend hosting your next event there. The team went above and beyond!

Love the new restaurant downstairs. Its called Favorite Son. It was not a fancy restaurant, but more like a casual diner. They have square thick pizzas, sub sandwiches and salads. Pretty simple and easy. The bar was great with endless cocktails to try. I enjoyed the meatball sub and italian sub. THere is no appetizer menu but one of the watiresses said they are working on it so im excited to see what they do next time i am in town.

The location is great, centrally located in Waikiki. The room was nice and well maintained, but it was the service that really stood out to my wife and I. Schereen went above and beyond for us during our entire stay. She is the reason I'm going to tell everyone about Romer Waikiki.

I work for the armed forces and stayed here on a work trip for more than 30+ days. Sylvia was extremely rude, condescending, belittling, and strange. She made every interaction awkward and was entirely unhelpful 100% of the time. She caught an attitude from the very beginning when our rooms weren’t ready and didn’t offer anything such as water after waiting 4 HOURS to check in. She said “that’s expected with a big group.” I’ve never seen a hotel staff member be so rude. She spoke down to me and wouldn’t even address me by a Ms, Mrs, or mam title like any other guest WHILE I was in uniform. She continued to call me by just my last name. Why? I’m not entirely sure what her issue was. She made me beyond uncomfortable for the entire 45 days that I stayed here. For this reason alone I am finally writing this review and will never recommend this place or come back.

Stayed on the 18th floor with a partial ocean view and it was fantastic. If you’re looking for a resort with spa amenities and 5 star restaurants, this is not your. But if you’re looking for a place that feels like home, then come here! Staff is so sweet and they really accommodate your needs. Only bad thing I would say is that restaurant needs better food. Coffee was decent but the food was inedible. Sorry, chef.
