This is a Delta, expect Delta level everything.

I want to precede this noting that this is a Delta brand hotel. I’ve stayed at other Delta’s and this is standard fare. Noting that at this price point, you are paying for location! It is put in an ama...zing spot, walking distance to everything. Views are amazing. But that’s really it for this price point. We have stayed at other similar price point hotels; JW Parq in Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, Ritz in Toronto, Muir in Halifax. This Delta does not compare to those other properties given the price. Service is where it should be for a mid-range hotel. No concerns. The rooms are updated but the overall hotel atmosphere is dated. You can see the difference going towards the spa/pool/gym wing. The pool was a pool. Hot tub jets were not working. Ambient pool lights were not on during the night; not sure if just not turned on or broken. The gym was in dire shape. Felt like it was in the basement utility room. I don’t think this area sees staff often for upkeep as there is a lot of evidence of other guests leftover items; cards, headphones, towels. Equipment was worn, only 1 treadmill was working and the speed handle on it was broken. The incline bench had 1 setting; towel level (see pic). Missing free weights, few gaps in the rack; didn’t see a 45lb so had to use the 50lb. Seen better shape gyms at Courtyards, Fairfield or Townplace suites. I feel this property needs an upgrade. They need to rebrand to a JW or a Ritz and get that type of funding to upscale it to that level this property deserves. Then they can charge $600-1000/night with no complaints. But I don’t see that happening. The business model works and they are doing well being the only resort in the area. There is technically no need to change unless there is ever any development of a Fairmont or Hyatt in the area. Enjoy this hotel for what it is and set your expectations when booking but don’t expect any luxury treatment.
Wonderful Stay

I was in Kelowna for just a day with a friend. I called the hotel to see if we could check in early and to my delight, although our room was not ready yet, the guy I spoke with said we could come to the ho...tel already and he’ll figure something out. Upon checking in, I found out our room was upgraded and I couldn’t be happier because of that. The staff were friendly and approachable overall, and the room was neat and spacious. One thing I would love to see though is a full mirror in the room just like the ones in Delta Calgary and Toronto.
Amazing

Our fully serviced unit was absolutely top notch. Very clean and well managed. The location was superior, with access to all amenities Kelowna has to offer, all within walking distance. We highly recommend... and will stay again if we get another opportunity.

We were here with our dog. Every aspect of the room, hotel, and parking was great. Unfortunately our dog initially made some noise. The management contacted us and were patient while we rectified the pr...oblem. We stayed 4 nights. Room was very quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable and location was great as we were visiting Prospera Place every day.
Great propterty and location.

My wife and I spent two nights and had an excellent time. The room was really nice and the location downtown Kelowna can't be beat. I needed to borrow a bottle opener and went down to the front desk where ...Liam helped get me one right away. He was super friendly and it's that kind of service that will ensure we return. My only negative was that the drain in the in-room whirlpool tub wouldn't seal properly and kept draining water out of the tub, we stuffed it with a facecloth and that seemed to help. Other than that minor detail all was good!
