The food was excellent, it is very delicious, and there is a lot of variety and the room and service were good. However, the beverages were not up to par and should be improved. The pools were good; the beach was nice. The place is clean and tidy. You can sleep in silence; there is a lot of peace and tranquility. I recommend booking a villa that isn't on a hill, as it can be a bit tricky to bring down the luggage.

I went to this hotel for a get away weekend good food great service but jacuzzi did not work and hot water in the room was missing though out the entire stay.. this hotel need to have more entertainment for families and adults the beach side was not what i expected for a hotel this caliber

Very Good Trip But!!! My stay at Villa Sol was Good with excellent amenities and friendly Staffs. Benilda Segura at the Desk was exemplary with customer service. She’s a 5 STARS ***** Tamara in the dining room always friendly with an excellent welcoming smile. Bartender Arian & Jean Carlo at the Pool areas were very helpful, friendly, the SPA staff members were excellent and I grade all the staff members with a 5 STARS ***** BUT, the Food was DISAPPOINTING, very SALTY, High Sugary dessert, Lacked of variety/Flavor and Quality. We were forced to Diet against our will, despite PAID ALL INCLUSIVES in advance. My husband and I visited some Local Restaurants and their Foods were great, flavorful with good Quality. Villa Sol will need to upgrade the food or change the CHEF, otherwise customers should have the Right to Opt Out on All Inclusive Fees. Overall our experience in Costa Rica was Excellent.

Excellent staff, service, ambient, restaurant and amazing view from pool balcony. If you're looking for a nice stay in Playa Hermosa, consider Villa Sol, really nice and specially spectacular restaurant, the best view to beach you can get at Playa Hermosa

It is an excellent resort. Great location and view. The staffs were courteous and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Transportation were available at any time during the day to take you around the resort including the beach..
