Very Bad Experience

The resort is on that my wife and I frequented as the Barcelona Grand Faro. Under the new ownership it was truely a grand disaster. The new owners are just interested n flogging their time shares at the expenses of providing basic services. Service that were advertised but not provided. 2 hours to get a meal in their Mexican restaurant. They are not up front about their not providing services that were advertised and I paid for. Find a different resort! There are many better resorts in the area. Do not stay at Solaris!

This was my 4th visit to this resort, but first time since Solaris took over. Overall the resort is good. Unfortunately it was very quiet during our stay so very little to enjoy in the evenings. The one show that was planned was too late and most vacationers had left by 9 pm. The pool entertainment staff are excellent. Enrique was very organized and had great activities throughout the day. I vacationed with my son who is a person with diverse abilities. The resort was very inclusive and welcoming. The food in the Italian and Sushi restaurants was excellent. The buffet was average, but lots of selection. We missed the great ice cream that used to be a staple in the dessert line up. The customer service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Room was cleaned daily and very nice. Over all an excellent vacation, highlighted by hundreds of baby turtles hatching on the beach out front and making their way to the ocean. The location of this resort is great!
