Lost Phone, Security and Precautions were awesome

Friend lost his phone, we told front desk but they weren't very responsive, we then tracked it on iCloud to a nearby area, where Manuel and the team there did an amazing job helping us search the area, hel...p us hydrated in the sun and in the end they found it!!!

We stayed for four nights occupying two rooms in a family trip. The hotel premises look very nice, gardens are well cared for and in general the facilities are clean and well preserved. Amazing location; t...he beach, although you cannot swim there is beautiful. That’s the first look you’ll get. But when it comes to details, we found that there were things that didn’t work properly at the room, the beds are old and move a lot, we had a broken tv (which was replaced after reporting) lights not working, ripped curtains, etc. No major things. The biggest downside of this resort is the food. INEDIBLE, even at the specialty restaurants. Buffet is primarily comprised of recycled food from the day before or so. Broken dish-ware and dirty silverware, torn table clothes. After a couple of tries we ended up eating outside. Breakfast is usually a no brainer at any all-inclusive resort and it’s generally very similar however at Krystal Grand we were also disappointed. We’ve tried other similar options at San Jose Del Cabo and wanted to give at try at Krystal Grand, we regretted it. In terms of service we unfortunately found some few individuals, particularly a couple of waiters that seemed to be bothered when servicing us, very bad attitude. Special mention to the guy at the Take a bite coffee shop, he always seemed to be in bad mood. Throwing things around as if he was inconvenienced by customer’s request. He shouldn’t be at any customer service position. There are plenty of options at San Jose del Cabo. Stay away from Krystal Grand. Of course we’ll never go back.
Fantastic holiday!

After reading some other reviews, I was extremely nervous about staying here, but we had nothing but a fantastic experience. I don't know what the others are complaining about! The staff were all fantast...ic. Food was decent, lots of variety (loved the fish tacos by the beach!), while I wouldn't call it 5 star food, it was very good and unless you are an incredibly picky eater, you won't go hungry. The drinks were your standard AI drinks. I found the drinks from the lobby bar were better than the beach bar. The rooms and resort is very clean. The beds are comfortable. I would 100% stay here again.
We had a wonderful vacation.

We had a wonderful time. I had read mixed reviews but I am glad we decided to try it anyways. Our room was clean and had the ocean view we payed for. The staff was very friendly and the free activities ...we participated in were fun (volleyball, archery on beach, bingo, movies and live music). The food and drinks were good. We especially enjoyed the Mexican fiesta. I would definitely go back. Travelled with our 12 year old son. If your family is looking for a fun, affordable option (by Cabo standards) this place is fun, clean and safe.

This hotel is a dump. The rooms are just ok. When you look out on the balcony all of the steel beams are chipped and peeling. The security lock on the had been pulled off and hastily screwed back on. T...he shower had mildew in it and the balcony doors did not slide or close properly. Water pressure and temp were inconsistent. But actually the rooms were probably the best part of the experience! This is an all inclusive and the food in general was HORRIBLE. The only restaurant that had decent food was the buffet restaurant - it’s hard to screw up omelette for breakfast and a salad for lunch. The coffee bar behind the lobby bar made good coffee and had decent pastries, unfortunately though the woman who was behind the counter early in the morning was VERY unfriendly. The Italian restaurant and the Grill were bad. Drinks were watered down and they did not know how to make martinis. Staff in general were not friendly. Location not that great - lots of traffic and street noise out front. Have stayed at another all inclusive in San Jose (Royal Solaris) and it was so much better and had a better location. Food was decent. This place may be a good value for the what you get (we paid $ 1800 for the week), but you definitely get what you paid for. Wish I would have spent more and gone to someplace better. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
