Once again, our stay at Marquis was even better than our previous. Upon arrival Rodolfo greeted us and Kenia assisted us with a VIP Check-In which is something new at Marquis. Rodolfo, always so friendly, again assisted us to our room sharing with us what’s happening the upcoming week. Upon entering our room, we saw Liliana had provided beautiful flowers including our favorites, Star Gazer Lilies, so aromatic. Liliana has such a beautiful heart,….and smile. We always see her walking the grounds and checking in with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Our days this trip were much like previous trips, walks on the beach in the early morning, breakfast where we are greeted by Adriana, such a warm, cheerful and heartfelt greeting!! “Hola, family Penman!!” Most mornings we had our favorite server, Tania. She has the cutest smile and always remembers just how my wife enjoys her cappuccino. Where things really improved this trip was in the food,..WOW!!! My wife and I frequent Marquis a few times per year and have been privy to some wonderful meals prepared by Chef Rene, Chef Dorian and Chef Francisco. Now, Marquis has elevated all their restaurant menus to VIP level, succulent, flavorful experiences for all guests at every meal. Chef Hotter and his team have collaborated to provide all guests with the best flavors!!! I believe what surprised me most was the Tuesday/Friday Restaurant Bacalao. The menu was delicious. The Lemon Rissoto superb!! I had shrimp and my wife one of the fish dishes,….I will now book my stays making sure I am at Marquis Tuesday and Friday Nights. The 2 servers that evening were Oscar and Sergio and they were in sync providing great communication to us as well as seeing all our needs were met(drinks stayed full ??). I believe it was the best service we have ever been provided. They seemed like a team from Canto Del Mar! Vista Bellanis’ new menu is superb!! This is a restaurant my wife and I would kinda skip on our stays but the new menu provides such delicious, quality offerings that it is now a must dine restaurant. Try some things you may not order but you’ll happy you did as they are differently delicious: Apps-Beef Tostada, Beef Soup, and the Dessert-Marscapone Chili Pepper and the Churro. The whole menu is fantastic but these items were so unexpectedly good,..you gotta try’em. While dining there our first night Carlos suggested a wonderful bottle of Champagne and Raul, the Captain was super friendly and kind. Our server was Christian who was amazingly attentive and very well spoken. I am often surprised how well the staff communicates with all the guests. Their English is often better than mine ?! Pergola Restaurant- I liked the pizza as they had been making it and when I heard they had changed the recipe I was like, “Uh Oh” but after my first bite I was “oh YES!!” You’d think I would know to trust them by now. The Pizza is somehow now even better. I love the Pergola menu. My go to dishes are: Mexican Pizza, Mushroom Rissotto, Beef Filet, Fettuccine Carbonara and Tiramisu. Don’t judge, I am on vacation. Sakke- I really love Japanese, Thai food so Sakke is great for me. Chef Francisco over saw our group dinner and we had flavors that had me almost licking my bowl and plate clean. God thing wife was there to help me mind my manners. My favorite item was the dessert he surprised us with. Chef Francisco, thank you so much for my Apple!!! You fooled me. Days are spent by the pool. Pool side service is carried out by the BEST TEAM and Team Leader, “Suzie.” What I witness is Every guest, even the occasional “rowdy” Bachelor, Bachelorette, Birthday Group being serviced with a smile, checked in with to see if something is needed, making suggestions and even bring a round without being asked. The staff is on it!! Who needs a swim up bar with poolside service at this level. Way to Go:, Salvador, Christian, Diego, Eric and Leon. Arturo and Jose Maria DA BEST!! Suzie, the team is great because of you!!! The hotel is not perfect but if there is any problem they strive to correct it. I had a little problem with my tv and mentioned it to Lionel, the new rooms manager. Within 30 minutes my tv was serviced. Way to expedite! A guy that could go unnoticed is Sammy. Sammy is one of the gentlemen that maintains the pool. He saves all from the people that “forget” to get out of the pool to pee. Sammy is so kind and a really cool guy. He offered to assist me on a little project at the hotel and my next trip I look forward to seeing what comes of it. He is working on putting some tables near the infinity ledge so we lazy vacationers have a place to set our drinks while cooling in the pools. If the tables happen,….Please, everyone remember to bring your cups with you when exiting the pool!!! A few other shout outs to staff members that make our stay special: Randy the Somillier, Chef Alejandro, Chef Carmen(best Passion Fruit Cake EVER!!!!), Jonathon at Sakke, Raul, Mari Cruz, Eykel our Pergola server, Sandra the Sous Chef. My wife and I usually post pics of our trips on FB and Insta and friends often ask to join us on our next stay. Once again, this has happened and I look forward to taking more friends to experience Marquis in March. A long break between trips but I think we will still get in our 3 stays in 2025. Marquis use to get knocked in reviews for the All Inclusive food not being great. I feel they have rectified this and those reviews wont be showing up much anymore. WAY TO GO CHEFS!!!

2nd time à Los Cabos. Love this place. Marquis Los Cabos is a great resort with 5 good restaurants, 3 pools, a spa and plenty activities in day and night (solo singer, disco show, solo guitarist). We have notice some names, good service from Adriana (vistas ballenas breakfast), Diego serving at the pool (good pizzas and great mocktails), Osvaldo great showman at the Teppanyaki Sakke restaurant. A special thanks to Jhony, a young guy who care many activities at the pool, in the sunset garden : the ping pong & beach volley, basket, mini golf, pool fitness class and a nice beack walk. Muchas gracias. Todo bien.
