The overall experience was great, I visited on a business trip. The customer service was excellent and the rooms are clean. I'm definitely going back early next year for some personal time. I would recommend persons to stay here as it was a good experience.

A review from a Brits point of view. This hotel is very geared towards American taste, which is totally understandable as they make up 98% of the clientele. If you are looking for a high end relaxing experience this is not the place for you. Expect large groups who are happy to be screaming and shouting around the pool from dawn until dusk. The music is loud and on occasion inappropriate (lil John’s Get low being one example) We had a number of bachelor parties present during our stay with the obvious consequence. We also saw the “gentleman” with the “i love bald pussy” t shirt on. The lack of respect shown to the location was saddening, with people openly littering ( I witnessed an individual finish his water and toss the bottle into a bush) people leaving plates and glasses all over the place, appalling. One0 one The staff are really hit and miss, which you can understand when you see how they are spoken to at times. I was embarrassed for the staff, as an aide memoir, when you tip someone you don’t own them! The food, again very much geared towards the American pallet, with everything being incredibly sweet, we struggled to eat anything green. The salad consisted of some lettuce and unripe tomatoes, unless you wanted it covered in mayo or sauce. The bread tasted like an iced finger bun without the icing. Buffet felt like a motorway service station canteen, very repetitive and uninspiring the only high point being the deserts. The other restaurants again were a disappointment, it was a shame, as you could see what they were trying to do it just lacked the final finish, nothing and I mean nothing was seasoned. Everything lacked flavour and any depth to the taste. What? If you’re a foodie then this is not the place for you. Room service was of poor quality and always cold and soggy by the time it reached us, on one occasion waiting 2 hours. Service was awfully slow, as others have mentioned time taken to get drinks was comical. Our room (ocean view suite) was kept very clean and had a lovely view. But as others have mentions water was an issue. The highlight for us was a number of staff, Shaunlee who managed an issue with exceptional professionalism, The chef in the italian who went above and beyond for us, and the maître D in the buffet who always greeted us with a warm smile . The grounds and beautiful and the sea warm. We would likely not return.

Fabulous experience and above expectations . Loved the double sized sofa lounger on the balcony-it was amazing to relax there at the end of the day. Great food selections and staff were superior to many resorts. Only disappointment was the very crowded chairs on the beach and on adult side the water was very rocky- you need water shoes but not if you’re on the family beach side Entertainment on both sides of resort. On adult side it was very professional with guitarists and excellent Earth Wind and Fire cover band - they were amazing

Don’t trust “good reviews” about this place like we did. If you’ve ever had bad customer service, I PROMISE YOU that this place will give you your worst experience. Mind you this is a “5 star hotel”. The people are rude, slow, and angry. The food is god awful and it’s not just at the hotel it’s all of Jamaica. The beaches are tiny dirty and rocky underneath the water. Room service food is a disgrace and the 7 plus restaurants are SO BAD. Don’t buy the tours at the hotel, go through trip advisor or viator. How about this…Just don’t go to Jamaica because you’ll be getting scammed everywhere and getting treated like you’re another American with money. All these people care about is money but don’t want to make the extra effort for it. Go to parks on your own and don’t get the tour guide because you’ don’t need them and don’t buy photos from the guys taking pictures. Save your tips everywhere you go, don’t tell yourself these people deserve them because they don’t.

Excellent! Already thinking of returning in the near future! We are typically cruisers. However, when a friend vacationed here and loved all aspects of the resort, we decided to try it. From arrival at the airport to check in at the resort was smooth. Too many helpful and polite staff members to mentioned. However, I must mentioned Francine!! She made our check in and stay superb with an upgraded room assignment to ocean front! Excellent view all day long, comfortable and spacious, bed was comfortable as well, Being an Hyatt Gold member has its perks!! Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is sprawling with beautiful greenery, grounds are excellent, including the beaches are swept daily! How awesome!. Guests are free to do whatever their hearts desire. The service on all levels and at the sister resort Ziva where most of the restaurants are located were excellent. ‘Choicez’ buffet was excellent, lots of choices and fresh food. Just one blip, entrees were a bit salty. Restaurant staff is equally amazing, friendly polite and helpful. Walking between the two resorts proved to be a great way to exercise! The Gym experience was excellent, well kept and clean with lots of new machines. Pools and the ocean were expansive and great. There was never a shortage of chairs or towels. Definitely would recommend this all inclusive resort...if you’re looking for a gorgeous place to stay in the area.
