Awesome week at sunset at the palms

Small boutique hotel set in a jungle like setting. Staff unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Food, especially for an all inclusive, was excellent. Rooms need a little freshening up but still very nice. Safety noted for front gate and crossing the street to the beach and being on the beach. Always someone there and accounting for guest presence. Massage was beautiful. Caravan half day trip with snorkeling to ricks cafe was awesome. Crew went above and beyond to make it a wonderful day and a party. Lunch with fresh lobster next door from a natures place with dynamite as the host was unbelievable all different ages present at resort. Many repeaters. This is due to the staff treating everyone like family. This is not a fancy resort but it is beautiful with so many thoughtful touches throughout. It was just right to relax and enjoy ourselves for a week.
Excellent Experience in Negril

This resort is very laid back and comfortable. The rustic Tree Houses provide all of the amenities that one needs. Amanda at the Front Desk was exceptionally attentive and responsive. The staff immediately make you feel like family upon check-in and throughout the entire stay. Their private beach affords server walk up service to your beach chair from where you can order from their menu and bar. A great overall experience.
Great Experience

This place is about the staff. We were really treated well- from breakfast to dinner. Even on the beach, they cut coconuts for us daily and made sure we were happy. Paul, the pianist was fantastic. The lady at the gift shop was so helpful in helping my mom find the perfect beach cover-up.
Relaxation by the sea

We found all the staff to be friendly, helpful and well trained, with special thanks to Claudette and Lorriane in Dining and the amazing barman who ran the Martini bar with skill and efficiency but whose name we never managed to read on his nametag. Overall this is more like a country club than a typical concrete and marble hotel, with the large number of returnees clear evidence that something special is offered here. The buffet and Lotus Leaf restaurant offered a good choice of well-prepared food with lots of Jamaican specialites available.
True 4-star Experience, warm & welcoming

A true 4-star experience: -service was warm, professional, welcoming - lots of repeat travellers -size of resort was not too big, not too small so you could meet others easily or avoid them if you choose -small beach so not overcrowded or too busy or loud -loved the day bed on balcony -nice variety of eating areas (under roof, patio, near bar) -great popcorn at pool bar available all day/night -good soundproofing and you don't hear your neighbour -clean and simple bungalow, comfortable mattresses -not too far from ATM, other shops (20min walk or they call you a taxi for $10) -food was very mediocre but the 2 special restaurants were a bit better -arriving at the beach after 11am meant you had to wait for clean towels as they run out by then -arrive early to the beach to get a shaded spot under an umbrella -the TV's speaker in our room was blown out so the sound was bad but lots of channels to choose from (and Canadian content) -restaurants, washrooms, shop, currency exchange, spa, gym are all close since it's a smaller resort; no feeling like you have to walk too far -no kids screaming or crying!
