Fine if you do not rely on the ART bus
theacrob (Belmont, California) on Oct 28, 2024
The pros: Reasonably sized room, more closet space than I’ve come to expect, relatively comfortable beds. The AC worked well. The elevators ran quickly. Check in and out was easy. Employee were polite. Decent sized fridge for many water bottles. My experience was the hotel was relatively quiet. Neutral: Each bed came with 3 pillows rather than 4. I need at least 4 pillows myself, so this was not fun for me. As with most hotels, the towels were tiny. The shower curtain constantly billowed in to cling to you, resulting in water all over the floor. Very small shower. No daily maid service until specifically requested, so no luxury experience at all. Why I won’t stay here again: This is definitely a *me* thing. I have very limited mobility due to a medical condition out of my control, so I had to rent an electric scooter from a local vendor (not from Disneyland, as you can’t take those off property and can’t reserve them, and we wanted to take mid day breaks. Had I gotten a Disney scooter, I’d have to return it when I exited mid day, and they were always out of scooters when we returned in the later afternoon). This hotel does *not* have a shuttle. Instead, the hotel advises you take the public transportation option, the ART bus. The ART bus does accommodate scooters, but it is a production, and not every bus driver is nice about it. The worst part is, this hotel is on the ART line that only has a bus about every 1-2 hours (this was my experience and was shared among others also waiting for the same bus) . There’s no predictable schedule. You can follow the bus on the app, but I’ve seen the bus I’m waiting for disappear from the app! I contacted ART customer care about it to no resolution at all. This meant I lost hours and hours of park time waiting in the unshaded bus stop. If the bus came every 10-15 min, this would be a non-issue. The bus says it’s every half hour, but it is not. I waited well over 30 min for the bus almost every time. In addition, this bus stop is extremely popular, so don’t expect there will be room for you when the bus eventually comes! Riders were understandably frustrated, bus drivers were frustrated, the whole experience really took its toll. If you are planning on using the ART bus, whether you need a scooter or not, do not believe that the bus is there every 30 minutes. Do not believe there will be room on the bus. Meanwhile, there were dozens of ART buses running to the Toy Story parking lot. Moving only 2 of these buses to the other line would resolve this issue. Many riders said they reported the delays to ART, so ART knows there is an issue. This is reason enough to not stay at this hotel. Any money you save is lost with lost park hours. The hotel needs its own robust shuttle schedule.
No frills stay for a Hilton

We stayed here for the D23 convention. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the convention centre and around 20 minutes from the parks for us. There is a shuttle busy however you can purchase tickets for. The hotel has all the standard features you require and good sized rooms. If you want decent coffee in the morning you will have to walk elsewhere (we would go to Starbucks in a neighbour hotel). Also important to note they only service the rooms every second day. However in our case they only serviced it once in our week long stay, which would mean we would have to call and request basics like towels or toilet paper.
Nice hotel and will return

I stayed here with the family on a trip to Disneyland, which was nearby. We had a nice day. Hotel was very convenient to multiple options within the area. Rooms were good. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend staying here again. Thank you.
Definitely will be back again!

This was my first time staying at this hotel! I booked from June 24-29,this was a girl's trip and we loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly! Kailani and Maryann at the front desk were exceptional, I even got text messages from them asking about my stay and how comfortable we were! The room was wonderful, no complaints. The pool was perfect temperature, the hot tub was nice and hot! The morning breakfast buffet which I got for free because I booked through Disneyland had tons of variety, they staff was very accommodating, very nice, helpful, and our trip was very relaxing! Thank-you!
Great place to stay

Great hotel. Super convenient to restaurants, Target, walkable (though it's a good 30-40min) to Disney. There's also an ART bus just to the side of the hotel entrance, between HGI and Embassy suites. The price is very fair, app to buy tickets and view routes was a little wonky. Rideshare to the parks was around $9 before tip, depending on time of day. The pool is heated and got mostly shade by mid afternoon, with the breeze while we were there it was too cool for the adults to enjoy, but my kids loved it. The hot tub is a nice size and felt glorious! Room was modern and clean. Ample towels and full size toiletries (shampoo, cond, body wash, and lotion). There was a Keurig, microwave and mini fridge with tiny freezer compartment too. Food highlights nearby: Coco's, Raising Canes, DingTea, Joe's Italian ice, Cielito Lindo food truck. The breakfast buffet was included in our room rate and had a great spread, hot eggs, meat, potatoes, oatmeal and yogurt bars, fresh juice, croissants, bread, bagels and jam. The staff at breakfast (Vindy and Will especially stand out), we're always attentive, but all the staff (whose names I missed) were hustling to keep the food fresh and refilled when needed. I appreciated that the breakfast opens at 6am, so we had time to grab a bite before getting on the bus and still making it to Rope drop.
