Think Twice!!

Lisa T on Jul 20, 2024

Horrible Hotel. We reserved one of the family suites, as we had 6 people going. The first suite they put us in had the worst sewage smell, especially when the shower water was going. It was so bad that most of us were getting ill. We asked for a different suite. The furniture is made from particle board pieces. The bunk beds were so unstable that we were only able to safely sleep in the bottom bunk. The fold out queen sofa sleeper was completely destroyed and the springs were not attached to the frame at all. I tried to sleep on it the first night, after using blankets and the couch cushions to hold it together, but all night I kept falling through the holes. The other 4 nights I slept on just the couch and shared it with my 3 year old. The wall mounted lights were not attached and the child lock window was not working. We were on the 3rd floor and the window was very easy for the small children to open. We found the child lock and put it in ourselves. Very unsafe. They do not clean the rooms regularly and after 2 days I flagged down a worker and asked if she could at least give us towels and take out the trash. The first night the A/C would not cool lower than 74 degrees and was locked. A worked came to change it and set it to below 60 degrees. We went from dying of 105 degree heat in July, to freezing and needing blankets over night. We finally were able to adjust it as we needed it. They NEVER answer the phone from the room. If you need them, you should plan on using your cellphone and calling directly to the front desk. Even when the fire alarm went off and we tried to get see if we really needed to evacuate (as it was immediately turned back off and no other guests were leaving) they did not answer unless we called from a different phone. When we had so many issues on the first day, I asked for a refund so I could go someplace else, but they refused. The pool area was nice, but no child area. The free parking is DEFINITELY not worth staying in this hotel. Think twice before you book.

Check before you stay!

Room was dirty when we finally given a key. Corridor smelt like a sewer had leaked for the whole stay. However the lobby and gardens outside were emaculate! We stayed to visit Disney, but we were not informed on check in that the room would not be serviced as we were staying two nights! Sold with a swimming pool … plunge pool with enough seat for four people! Sorry but we were delighted to check out and leave …

It was ok

The people were nice at the front desk. Hotel is definitely dated. Sink was plugged..but the room was clean. Definitely a dated hotel. The plugs were worn so when you went to charge something, the plug just fell out. The bathroom door was loose and wouldn't lock and the AC didn't feel cold.

Crappy smelling room for 3 nights.

Chrystal T (Carlsbad, California) on Jun 28, 2024

We stayed in the part of the hotel where the lobby is located on the second floor and it was pretty awful. The smell coming in from the air conditioning vent smelled like a crappy overflowing toilet. They could not move us because they were overbooked so we dealt with it for 3 nights. This hotel was better than this but now I can recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends.

Don’t be scared of bad reviews! CLEAN, friendly & FREE parking!

Ashley T on Jun 20, 2024

Don’t be scared of bad reviews! David greeted us warmly and made sure to let us know we could ask for anything including more cleaning days if needed. From the lobby to the room everything was clean. The air condition worked great, along with the fridge and the water pressure. We had four people in the double queen and found there to be lots of room for us to move around. Even with our scooter. The beds were comfortable and the carpet very clean for a busy hotel. The rooms were quiet we couldn’t hear anything and we were by the elevator. We didn’t use the pool but although on the smaller side it was clean and had lots to of chairs from when we checked it out. The walk to the front of disney was 12-14 minutes and the CVS and walgreens nextdoor have everything you need if you forget something. They have fresh food delivery from next door if you want room service. The bad reviews worried us prior to coming but we stayed here ten years ago with little kids and loved the family suites and are happy we chose to stay here again. The price and accommodations were great! And i was very surprised to learn they had free parking! Highly recommended this hotel.
