I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the lack of support I received from your hotel staff during my recent stay. Despite repeated calls to the front desk and requests for assistance, the on...going noise from neighboring guests—yelling profanities and playing loud music late into the night—was not properly addressed. Jacky and Samir from the PBX operator team failed to provide any meaningful assistance, and security was only dispatched once, despite the ongoing disturbances. I documented each call I made to your staff requesting help and even asked about possible compensation for the inconvenience, but my concerns were dismissed. This experience has been extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on the resort’s commitment to guest comfort and safety. I will be sharing this experience with my friends and colleagues to caution them against booking at your resort due to the evident disregard for guest concerns during nighttime hours. I hope your management takes this feedback seriously and ensures no other guest has to endure a similar experience. Anthony Building 2500 5/23 - 5/27

This could very well be the worst "resort" I have ever stayed in, And I only use the term resort because they have it in their name. They call Florida, the sunshine state, but you would never know it by st...aying here, because there's no window (See photo below). The common area is filthy, the elevator is disgusting, I found dirty socks behind the nightstand, the rooms are dated and dirty. There's a small kitchenette and I made breakfast and I had to keep one hand on the cord from the toaster because where the outlet is placed the cord lays right on the pan as I'm cooking. There are too many options in Florida to make a mistake by staying here. Please choose wisely and go elsewhere.

As first timers to this resort we were all open to the amenities offered here. The Resort is a well staffed, friendly resort with young professionals and great pools for every guest to enjoy. The resort ...is on the west side of I-4 on Turkey Lake Road. This is a great spot for travel logistics in the attraction district. The Walmart super center is 1 mile away with the Hospital simply next door. This gave us the items we needed plus the satisfaction knowing medical staff was very close in case Dad needed to be treated. The lake and village settings of the layout is so inviting. The resort layout offers a relaxed serene moment in many ways. The staff is amazing and the service personnel were all over the resort grounds. The perception is that the management wants you here as a guest or an owner. The staff were friendly and conversive like the resort was a huge cruise ship. The physical plant as so clean and the daily maintenance could be seen everywhere on the resort. We had 2 villa bedrooms & 1 king suite room. The insides were spotless and the amenities welcome the guest to stay for the week. They have a mini water park for a fee and 6 free pool areas with lifeguards present. We found plenty of food areas that include your favorite alcohol beverage too. The resort has gated/ staffed security and they check/talk to every vehicle entering the resort. Our safety level was quickly put in happy mode by the presence of security every building had on site. This is so important when families and children are walking about the resort. The bicycles are available to ride the trails and roads inside the resort property. The guest safety focus by the management & staff was very reassuring to us as safety is important these days. The spa massage for the ladies was exceptional, kind, & so relaxing they wanted more. We also enjoyed the lazy river but they need to have more float tubes available for it is so popular with guests. We found the restrooms to be clean well stocked and cleaning staff could be seen working thru out the resort. The guest service workers answered our every need when the need arose. Making 12 vacationers happy is really a task. They passed with ease and satisfaction. It is relaxing for our female vacationers to lay out and sunbathe knowing that uniformed security are about all the pool areas. I say this since we loved the safety factor involved in this resort. The morning coffee service was so slow and very popular. The pool food was hot, flavorful & good quality for swim & dine foods. The mixed drinks were plentiful & the wait staff could be found easily. We will return to this resort for another fun filled weekend for sure! Thank you Westgate Resorts for being the family reunion "go to" for us. We will again stay for the fun & value. We were in 244 mini king suite while the family were in the bigger apartments in building 80. The concierge staff must again be praised for assisting our every need. Great place, will definately come back. Rooms are nice. Special thanks to Jana, Dan Brown and Soraya. Great service. Thank you we enjoyed our vacation. The view is super so many activities to do within the... resort. We had such an amazing time.

During our stay at Westgate Lakes & Resort, we had a few frustrating encounters. While at the waterpark, a security guard and his manager told my mom to put the umbrella down, even though she has a medical... condition that requires her to stay out of the sun. Although the situation was upsetting, the manager was very kind and professional in handling the issue once we explained my mom's condition. Later, when we went to rent bikes and fishing rods, an employee refused to allow my dad and 8-year-old brother to fish, despite a clear sign stating that kids under 16 don’t need a fishing license. The employee was unprofessional, smiling while denying them, which was frustrating. We spoke with the front desk manager, who was both understanding and professional and addressed the issue appropriately. While the manager's assistance was appreciated, the overall experience was still disappointing due to the lack of professionalism from certain staff members. It’s unfortunate that a few bad experiences overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable stay. The manager was the most helpful and she will talk to the woman about it.
