1 and Done, Won't Come Back
JeremyHayz (Los Angeles, California) on May 05, 2025
The resort is located in a picturesque setting, surrounded by lush palm trees and boasting impressive pools. However, it is evident that the resort is in need of updates as it appears outdated. Furthermore..., the dining experience at Cava Restaurant was disappointing, with bland food that seemed to be air-fried. Although the servers provided exceptional service, the overall experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter at the kids' arcade room, Glo Entertainment. One of the workers displayed unacceptable behavior, being rude and making guests feel uncomfortable. This was exemplified when I inquired about the Escape Room and was met with a hostile response, leaving me feeling confused and disrespected. During my stay over the 4th of July weekend, I experienced a particularly unpleasant incident with a staff member at the Escape Room. The individual was unprofessional and aggressive, which was concerning and unacceptable. Additionally, this staff member exhibited inappropriate behavior towards children in the mini bowling area, which was completely unwarranted. I addressed this behavior as an upset father, informing him that I would not tolerate mistreatment of my 4-year-old son or any other child in such a manner. Based on these experiences, I am unable to recommend this resort to others. It is evident that there are issues that need to be resolved, particularly concerning staff conduct and overall guest satisfaction. I trust that management will take these concerns seriously and implement necessary measures to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future guests. PS: I also noticed discrepancies in my charges, as I was billed for both self-parking and valet parking simultaneously, in addition to pool bar charges that were added to items I had already closed out with my credit card. I urge guests to carefully review their folios and report any discrepancies to Kerstin Castillo, the General Accountant, in hopes of receiving proper credits.
Great hotel for families but trashy pool area
Vacationer462298 (Los Angeles, California) on Apr 16, 2025
Room was great. Clean and spacious. Food was delicious. We tried not room service and the restaurant. Pool beach area is perfect for the kids. Cabanas are definitely worth it especially in the sandy beach ...area. Only reason I don’t give it a 5 star is cause there was a lot of trash around the pool area. It felt like the staff didn’t pick up after people during the day. There were empty plastic cups and food trash everywhere. Hope this changed from the last time I went as I would like to return
Inflated prices for festivals
kilgoret95 on Apr 15, 2025
Stayed here while attending Coachella. While the room was okay, staff were nice and helpful, and their food was good, the hotel significanly inflated their prices by 50-70%. I took screenshots of rates fro...m the Marriot app and the hotel’s website then called the hotel to ask if what I was being charged was legitimate. They blamed it on the third party I booked through and said they never “price gouge.” I called the third party, who put me on hold and called the hotel. They spoke to the same person I spoke to who’d blamed the third party for the rates. But the hotel staff confirmed that the rates I was being charged were correct. The third party rep said rates are always at the hotel’s discretion. I brought this up at the hotel and was told I could have cancelled, and I would have had I found an available room with days to spare. I won’t ever book through a third party again or stay at this resort. I don’t have time for finger-pointing and rate shenanigans, even if I can pay them.
Very relaxing stay, lovely hotel
tripnina (London, United Kingdom) on Apr 14, 2025
We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a large resort style hotel and there is a lot going on. The rooms were great, spacious and beds comfy. Nice views. The general areas and pool area were very nice. We ...were travelling with children and they loved the pool, hot tub, the ping pong and football tables, tennis and basketball courts and the arcade (it is not huge). We didn’t try the escape room, bike hire or kids club! We found it a very lovely and relaxing stay. The bakery is really handy and yummy for a quick breakfast, there is a choice of complementary refreshing waters near reception as you arrive. We ate at the bar for a light snack and the food selection although limited was nice, and the breakfast buffet at Cava was also tasty.
Great resort for a conference. Check email and network under the palm trees.....

This was the perfect resort for a conference. It is beautiful, there are plenty of restaurants and bars on site and there is plenty to do if your family tags along. The rooms are nice, quiet and com...fortable - but nothing fancy. We had a pool view king with "balcony" (narrow and no chairs). I might have been a big disappointed if I'd paid $700 / night for a family vacation - but for a conference it was great. We didn't spend much time in the room and happily checked email and worked in the shade of a palm tree by the pool. The resort is fairly secluded, so you'll need a car if you want to see the Aerial Tramway, Living Zoo, Indian Canyons, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, shopping, etc.. You can only walk or bike to a few restaurants across the street. Consider TURO where you can reserve a car for part of your stay and have it delivered to the resort. We weren't traveling with kids - but it looked like there were lots of things for them to do with the pool, Camp Esmerelda and all of the games like Ping Pong Tables around the property. It's about 30 minutes from the PSP airport. Enjoy!
