Complaint Regarding Bartender Service, Noise Disturbance, and Complimentary Voucher Issue at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Reso

marcosmireles09 on Sep 23, 2024

I am writing to express my disappointment with several issues I encountered during my recent stay at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. Firstly, I had a frustrating experience with one of your bartenders on [insert date]. After ordering drinks and handing over my credit card for payment, the bartender claimed not to have received the card and suggested I had misplaced it. This lack of accountability was troubling and unprofessional

Not what we expected

We booked Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa for the labor day weekend to celebrate my birthday. We chose this hotel for it's lazy river and water slides. When we first arrived, we were treated professionally and kindly by the staff. We were told that our rooms were not ready so we went to spend time at the lazy river. When we walked over to the lazy river, we noticed that it was extremely busy! There were barely any chairs left to sit. We found two chairs to share between 5 people. We quickly then jumped into the lady river but noticed that the water was very foggy. It felt dirty too because there were so many people in it. It did not appear to have good circulation. We did a couple laps around the lazy river but then decided to get out because we felt gross. Even my daughter who loves water wanted to get out. My daughter and husband then decided to try the water slides. They were excited to go but as soon as they got off, they both claimed that the slides were bumpy and hurt their backs. They also said that it pinched their skin. With not much more choices, we decided to go into the big pool where it felt a little cleaner. We then received a text that our rooms were delayed so we had to wait a little longer to actually get into our room. The rooms were decent. For the price that you pay, we thought the hotel was going to have more of a resort feel. It didn't feel like this at all. Actually when we drove past the gates to our rooms, it looked more like an busy apartment complex. We did not have a good experience at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. We will not be returning.
