My partner and I had a terrific Thanksgiving at the Homewood. The pool was perfect from 11am to 3pm every day, despite the low sun angle. The grills worked well for dinner. We enjoyed king walks along the golf course with views of the mountains. We found the breakfast to be a bit chaotic and not especially healthy. But it’s a solid meal for busy families and the waffles are fun, but the options got old after a couple days. The staff was fantastic. The room was very clean, as were the grounds. We found the proximity to Joshua Tree and downtown Palm Springs to be simple and convenient. All in all- a great trip.

The view in back of the hotel is gorgeous. The pool is beautiful. However we (and about 8 other people) experienced terrible check in service. The main person at the desk would not get off the phone on, what sounded like, a non urgent call. This went on for over 10 minutes as the line grew longer. Another staff member eventually came out but she had a non helpful attitude and it took her another 5 minutes to finally check people in. Between this and the bad room design, we moved hotels after one night. The room was small with no kitchen table and the sofa was love seat size barely fitting 2 people. I could hardly walk around the bed because the dresser was too bulky. If the safe was open (located in the closet) you could not close the closet door. There were no ice machines in the hotel. They referred us to the room refrigerator ice maker which only made 10 cubes in 1-2 hours. Never again. I’m disappointed in you Homewood Suites.

Don’t bother, there are other Hampton nearby. Bathtub had black hairs and big rust spot . Towels are paper thin and scratchy. My husband turned down sheets and pulled a long hair out of the middle of the sheets. Tried to contact the main desk with no reply on chat through app. We were exhausted from travel otherwise we would have gone downstairs and demanded a clean room. We stay at home suites all the time and never had a room like this. If this was my first stay at this chain I would never return to one.

One ofvthe best hotels I have stayed at! Clean! The staff was super friendly and helpful! The free breakfast was a perfect way to start the day! Make sure you pick a mountain view room because the view is amazing! The pool was clean and beautiful overlooking the golf course and mountains! They have a beautiful gas fire pit for chilly night!

The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were so terrible that i woke up sore the next day, then when told at check in that they would be able to accommodate a 1pm check out free of charge, the next morning, the housekeepers knocked 3 times and I got 2 calls that I needed to check out or they were going to charge me 50$ late fee. And no top of that I wasn't recognized for my gold status. The front desk said, that we don't get late check out. no exceptions. Not worth the money.
