So many issues. Mosquitoes. I cannot overstate how many I killed and how many bites I have. Waited 40 minutes to check in. Employees allow people to cut the long line to ask questions instead of waiting in line. No one explained the shuttles, restaurants, activities etc even after 40 minute wait for check in. I was surprised when security stopped me from eating somewhere because no one told me I couldn't when I checked in. They tell you to use the app but the free wifi is terrible. A fight occured and it took security almost half hour to show up. Had tummy trouble. Saw a bartender licking honey off his fingers and not wash his hands. The drinks at the pool were disgusting but the lobby bar had great bartenders. The property is beautiful and big. The entertainment is top notch and some of the restaurants are amazing. They just need to do fogging for mosquitoes, do some food safety training, train on customer service, offer staff some basic English lessons for free during work hours, learn how to work a line and make different lines and don't let people cut the line and retrain housekeeping. We didn't have shower gel for 2 days even though they supposedly cleaned our room. I'm sure there's more I can't remember but I won't be back.

The basics rooms needs to be upgraded. Please spend your money and upgrade to the newer rooms to avoid any disappointments. Carmen is an absolute god sent. If wasn't for her, my trip would have been ruined. Beach and food was excellent. You're just a # , noone really goes out of their way to speak with you. The bellboys and beach towel staff are friendly. Lots of mosquitoes, definitely walk with repellent. I did and only got 1 or 2 bites. Beach were good, last day had lots of seaweed. If you're not up before 8am, you will not get a pool or beach chair. I had to be up at 6:30am daily, which i hated. Entertainment was excellent and they worked really hard. It was fast and easy to get to and from your rooms to the restaurant or beach as the carts passes every few minutes. They are very accommodating and most of the drivers are friendly. AGAIN...WALK WITH REPELLENT. VERY IMPORTANT!

Great vacation, large resort but always shuttles available to take you from lobby to beach. If you walk it’s 10 minutes at a slow pace. After all I ate the walk was pleasant. Entertainment team was great, activities every hour and not too pushy to participate. Food was good at the buffet, not too much rotation but always lots to choose from. Service for drinks was slow for all meals here. For the a la cartes we chose Brazilian (excellent), tappanyaki (excellent) and Mediterranean (excellent). We heard the Italian wasn’t the greatest so glad we avoided. Service for these was excellent. Pools were all good; need to get towels down by 7:15 to get your choice of chairs. Beach was excellent. They don’t clean it daily so the seaweed builds up with the tide but then goes away for the afternoon. If you want chairs here go by 7 am Room was very nice. We had a double room for the family, 3 beds, 2 washrooms. Best room I’ve stayed in (building 24) Little one took advantage of kids club a few times, she had lots of fun, they put pinneys on the kids and really watch them close.

Great place to visit with families and friends. The amenities are amazing and the facilities offer a welcoming atmosphere. I’ve had a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend to others. During my next visit to Punta Cana, I may consider staying at Bahia Principe for a longer stay.

The territory is amazing. Check in process is horrible. Rooms are old and really need renovation if you get the cheapest one. Wifi doesn’t work a lot of time. Melvin, George and Stheve are the best guest service helpers, ask them and they will make your vacation Santa, Jenni and Kelvin at the beach are fantastic bartenders at the Bluebar Cleaning ladies are also good and hostess Eliana at the buffet. Most of the work are really nice and great people
