Food = 5* Service = 5* Rooms ( standard ) = 4*+ Pools = 4* Evening entertainment = 3* Just returned from a lovely 12 day stay and gained a stone and a very good tan, Amber is in my opinion the better one to stay at in this complex , very very big complex too , loads of little shuttle buggy s constantly running . Drinks , they will give you the cheap branded drinks but you are entitled to named brands so don't be afraid ask for them so if you want vodka an coke ask for smirnoff or whatever you like. One real dislike is at the alacart restraunts Everything is QR code an it's quite confusing for us oldies and also means you have to take your phone out with you . Take lots of low denomination money , preferred is American dollars an a one dollar tip every other drink keeps them more than happy. Entertainment is almost constant around the pool but evening entertainment could be loads better , it is rather poor. Saying all that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go there again.

This hotel.is very nice the staff are great looking after your needs, the weather gets very hot so make sure you take plenty of sun cream, and a sun hatloads of fun things to do in the day time,night time entertamement is good take a trip out from the holiday rep

A truly amazing vacation spot! The staff went way above and beyond to ensure our comfort in a timely manner. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable as well. Special shout out to Maria, Julio , Ela and Luis for their help and service. We are definitely booking another trip back to the Ambar!

The resort in general is clean and beautiful. Some things we found really bad in the 7 days we were there. First the one was the “vacation package” people bothered us EVERY day we went into the lobby. Even after saying “no thank you” 4 times. Our room wasn’t cleaned 3 out of the 7 days we were there. No towels or the mini bar re-stocks. Was told “we will do it right away” but never happened. The A La Cart restaurants were disappointing/hit and miss. After being told “you can use all the other resorts”. No one knew anything about anything in the other resorts. We ask for details on the other “sport bars” in the other resorts. No one knew where they were or how to get to them. Got on the shuttles that go back and forth. But couldn’t even get close to the lobby where the other sports bar was. When booking excursion we told them I have mobility issues. Was told "no problem very little walking" The walking was on uneven gravel ground and tons of stairs. I trip over a rock in the path and needed first aid on my knee to stop the bleeding. Had an employee come into our room late at night while we were out. To get room service plates. But found a cloth napkin laid out on the floor by the one bed (like a mat) and another cloth napkin under the side table. We NEVER got cloth napkins with the room service. So no idea were they came from. Also the bathroom toilet door was closed for some reason. Felt very creepy and off setting. Miguel the egg chef in the buffet is fantastic and made breakfast fun. There are a lot of employee’s there that are incredible. But cleaning crew and servers in a la carts are very cold. For swim up rooms. We saw one visitor peeing in the swim up room pool. And another very drunk visitor fall and cut her hand. Bleeding and smashing glass into the swim up pool. So second thoughts on the swim up pool. Will not be coming back to this resort.

The hotel is lovely & always very clean. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Bianca at the pool bar was so attentive and friendly she couldn’t do more for us, the entertainment staff are amazing Yeimy Kennin Antonio Madelin Maicol Ronaldo Jeffison & Icedro especially! They work so hard and make sure you’re involved and having the best time, they really made the holiday. Emmanuel and Kedwin in Limbo are also fantastic and made the best cocktails! Would happily return to this hotel there is nothing I could fault.
