A relaxing time at majestic elegance

We visited majestic elegance August 20-29. We have been to Punta Cana 5 times and this was definitely one of the best resorts we have stayed at. Upon check in they upgraded us to the adults only section (thank god too many kids on the family side). The room was very big, the TV was not working but we didn't care too much as we barely spent time in our room. The pool was by far one of the cleanest pools I have ever seen in Punta Cana and the beach was beautiful with little to no sea weed. The upkeep is amazing and there is little to no mosquitos. What i loved about the resort was the short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Most resorts we have been to we had to take a golf cart or walk 15-20 minutes. The service is pretty quick everywhere if you go to dinner early. One thing i have to comment about is on three separate occasions we ordered food from the restaurants and it did not come with some of the items listed on the menu. For example at the sea and sea restaurant, i got the seafood enchilada which comes with crab. When i got the dish i did not get any crab and got more mussels instead. At the French restaurant we got lobster which was supposed to come with potatoes and rice. It only came with rice. At the steakhouse we got an apple crumble dessert that is supposed to come with vanilla ice-cream and we got bubble gum ice cream. All three times no one informed us that they did not have these items available and would be substituting. That is the one thing i have to comment on that should be changed because it is quite disappointing when you get your dish and its different than the description. Otherwise we had a really fun time. You must see the Michael Jackson show it is insane! Gary at the piano bar is a great bartender and we will miss his yummy drinks.
Feeling majestic in the paradise

We were there on 26th August - 7th September, the weather was amazing, hot and sunny during the day and it rained at night. You can experince a very nice Sunrise at the beach lounges if you're in Club. We were Club members so there was always food, snacks and drink for us. Eventhough it is seaweed season, the hotel did an amazing job cleaning the seaweed on the beach. We had amazing time at the beach bar. Shout out to Maxima, Santa, Marilania, Angelina and Francisca. They were super fun and sweet and they make great cocktails! The restaurants were great, the food was great. We really liked the Steakhouse (the ribeye and the tenderloid were really good) and the 9 doors for their cooking shows. However, I'd be careful with the lobsters if your stomach isn't strong. Our butlers were very nice, kind and helpful. Shout out to Greydin and Henry! I asked Greydin to decorate our room for a romantic night and he had done an exceptionally amazing job! So did Henry! Thank you so much for making our holiday so splendid! The service was really excellent, the drinks were strong, the foam party was really fun, the accomodation was nice, and the beach was magnificent. It was absolutely worth it! Excelente!!
