After getting married in 1997 in the Dominican Republic, we have been to the DR 20 times +. Secrets Cap Cana is the best and ticks every box for us. We have been three times to SCC and returning again this year. We stay for three weeks and for the duration of our stay recieve nothing other than great service and a memorable holiday! This year, we had ‘Carlito’ as our concierge. We cannot speak highly enough of Carlito…he is an absolute credit to the team! Also special mentions to… Luis (Sommelier Portofino)...each year Luis always gives 5 star service, goes out of his way to greet us and looks after us in any of our requests. Also sommeliers 'Santiago' and 'Michael'...again always greeted us and at hand for any requests. The service in all the restaurant have fantastic management of the team led by Florentino, thereafter to the Supervisors Ronny, Robert and Willvel...always go out their way to offer the best level of service and their servers...all gave fantastic service and great communication for the duration of our stay.... Daniel (Seaside/Portofino), Fernando (Portofino), Eudy, Geraldo, Melvin Pacheco, Ruddy, Yogilis, Dager, Luis (Seaside), Misael (Seaside), Eliman (Seaside), Adalberto, Julian and the lovely Gendy (Oceano). Fifth, Johano on the coffee cart...everyday served us great coffees with great communication and a smile...we miss his coffees! Sixth, we must not forget our beautiful restaurant hosts...all fantastic service...Yasmin, Saidy, Rosa, Kaila, Rosemary and the wonderful Hilda! Clarissa (Portofino)...what can we say...amazing! Also, Julia (Mexican), lady host at French restaurant (I'm sorry I forget her name!)....they engage, connect...all brilliant! Seventh, Marisol....did a fabulous job cleaning our room and our requirements of towels met everyday. 8) The female lobby servers..great service and always recieve a warm welcome from Lastly, the beach waiters, fabulous and beautiful soul 'Esperanza'...she is the best. Her humour, smiles and level of service is 5 star...we miss her! Also, Danny....great communication and service. Must mention also Vanessa on the preferred section...lovely friendly lady...who whenever she saw us, always engaged and asked if we were having a great time. 9) Thank you to the management (wish we knew names!) for going above and beyond to rectify any problems and making our holiday so special. Loved New Year this time around having more DJ...everyone had an amazing night! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making another holiday super special...we love you all and can not wait to see you next month! Getting excited now....can't wait to see everyone...especially Carlito!!

My boyfriend and I are not married we just go on honeymoons. We have been together for 17 years and have about 65 honeymoons under our belts. A lot of resorts we fell in love with immediately and subsequently revisited multiple times. Secrets Akumal and Secrets Maroma were two of the best. However due to the cost and distance from airport our times revisited were few. When we first learned about Secrets Cap Cana it too was a little pricier. We got lucky Nov 2022 and scored a great price through UVC. This was a 2 week trip where we visited 3 resorts. Secrets Royal Beach first, then Cap Cana then Breathless. This was our first visit to Cap Cana and were shocked to automatically get an upgrade for a swim-out. And to be honest I know I was personally nervous that 'for lack of a better term' this place would be too quiet for us and that it might be 'too stuffy' for us as we enjoy a party atmosphere. To our surprise we fit right in. The thing we immediately liked the most was the compactness of this property. Coming from Royal beach we were not impressed with the preferred club lounge. That thought was quickly distinguished with the discovery of The Rosewater bar/restaurant. Amazing menu and staff. Fransisco the bartender immediately fell in love with us as we did him. November 2023 was our second visit were Enrique became our butler. October 2024 was our third visit. While we were there we booked for November 24... exactly one month later. Overall we quickly fell in love with this place. I cant remember the names i should but good thing were going back in a couple of weeks and i for sure will write down the names of all the amazing staff. I do remember Nayomi (housekeeping) Esmerelda (Rosewater) Enrique (host) Be prepared to read another Review next month. PS were going to Secrets Tides (first time) November 13-20 Secrets Royal Beach November 20-27 Secrets Cap Cana 27-30.
