June 30- July 06

Our party of 7 stayed at the Lindo hotel June 30-July 06, 2024. There were some pros and cons. First the pros: The food was amazing. We ate at the Italian, Greek, and Steakhouse. Italian was our favorite. We also ate at the buffet for dinner, and we were all happy with the food. The ages of our group ranged from 70-10, so there were plenty of choices for all. The rooms were good. We stayed in building 52, rooms 5212 and 5214. Both were spacious enough, and the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels. The refrigerator was restocked when requested. The resort is huge, so the golf carts were a must at getting around. We never had an issue getting one to take us where we needed to go. The beach was beautiful, but a bit rocky. Not the resorts fault, just my observation. The pools were clean and have a nice temperature. Now for the cons: check in and check out were AWFUL. Not organized at all. It took 2+ hours to check in. We requested 2 rooms with 2 beds and were even sent a link to choose our rooms, and on arrival were told those aren't available. There are no elevators, and due to disabilities of people in our party, first floor rooms were a must. After some back and forth, they finally gave us rooms that fit our needs. Check out was worse. We waited 20 minutes to check out. Check out time was 12, check-in time 3pm. They were checking PEOPLE IN before 11 am. We had to leave due to transportation being there and weren't even close to being checked out. There should be two lines, one for check-in one for check out, especially when check-in was still technically 4 hours away! Another big con for us was the alcohol. It tasted terrible. This is not our first all-inclusive, and we struggled to find anything that tasted good. It was really awful, and we didn't drink hardly at all because it was gross!! The other big con was no clear definition of resorts. You have no idea when one stops and the next hotel property begins. Overall, for the price we paid and what we experienced, we will probably not choose to stay at an Ibserostar resort again.

My family and I just returned from Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. My 13 year old daughter, Ava, wanted to share a review of the entertainment staff, Star Friends "My week trip was amazing. The staff were so nice. And of course, the STAR FRIENDS made it so much fun. Most especially, Franco and Pepe. They were great entertainment. They both lightened up my day just by seeing them. Pepe made a rainy day fun while playing darts. Every night I looked forward to dancing with Franco at the after parties. Franco was funny because I love the way he dances. Franco is the BEST; his dance moves, his personality, his smile, all brightened up my day. I loved watching him do the water aerobics. He is so kind to people and is very encouraging to participate in all the activities! I had a blast with the STAR FRIENDS!!!" Sincerely, Ava Gironda
