Horrible experience! Do not waste your money at all

I booked when the hotel had a 4 star rating. It is now down to a 2.5 star since it reopened. I arrived January 2 and left January 3rd I am really not a picky person when it comes to vacations as long as food and ambiance is nice I’m happy. There was absolutely none of that. There’s 1 buffet which sits probably like 30-40 people. It’s a very small hotel. Aesthetically the lobby and the grill and the merkado buffet are gorgeous. But there’s no variety in food. For lunch and supper they don’t even have fruits. They only have maximum 2 different types of desserts. As for whatever the main meal is it’s always something small. Either pork and sometimes chicken. My kids were hungry it didn’t make any sense. I stayed two days and checked out early when it was supposed to be a 7 day vacation. I went out of my way to book another hotel and I left this one to make sure I don’t ruin my family vacation completely.
Great hotel for families which clean beautiful beach and brilliant large waterpark

Hi , we’ve just stayed at the Casa Maya Melia all inclusive hotel on the Cancun hotel strip, and it was brilliant ! The entertainment was just perfect for adults and kids , and kids club was fun for my son! We also loved the food as there was so much choice and 4 restaurants! The beach has white powdery sand and was always really clean and great waterpark in the hotel too ! Highly recommend it if youre going with your family . its also only a short walk from the ferry for Isla Mujeres. Its only reopened after a long full refurbishment in Dec , and it’s absolutely brilliant . What we loved most about the hotel is the staff! Special shout out to Antonio who runs the entertainment and is super friendly and fun.. he does everything from exercise classes , welcoming guests , running Jenga and Bingo and adjusting the sound when there are special guests for the evening shows . My son who is 6 also really loved the kids club, and Abi, Gaby and Suri were all brilliant entertainers!
