I visited Secrets Maroma with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We’re UVC members, so we had access to the Preferred Club, and everything about th...is resort exceeded our expectations. First of all, the food was hands-down the best I’ve ever had internationally. We literally ate until we were stopped at the hibachi—it was that good. The next night at the Italian restaurant was just as amazing. We each had two entrées (no regrets!) and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pool area is beautiful, and the beach cabanas were a dream; especially the elevated one we booked. It cost a little extra, but the view and experience were worth every penny. we loved our swim out room as we were able to swim very early in the morning and in the evening. We also did a few excursions like jet skiing, and had such a blast! On top of all that, the concierge service was top-tier; they made sure all of our needs were met and even helped pull off a sweet surprise from my boyfriend for my birthday. Truly, Secrets Maroma was a 10/10 experience. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful place and great time with my loved one celebrating our honeymoon! The beach was so relaxing, the events that were out on really kept the day alive and exciting… along with the great food and teq...uila :) Thank you to all the staff and to Alejandro for his excellent concierge service. Will be back.

The resort was excellent and the rooms were as advertised and very comfortable. The pool and beach areas were very clean with plenty of seating. The staff was great and our concierge Roberto was top notch!... He made our stay above and beyond what we’d expected. He helped us with reservations for the spa and the Hibachi dinner and also filled us in every morning and evening with the day’s activities. 10/10!!

This was our 4th visit to the Maroma and it continues to live up to the high standards set by management. The resort is beautiful and always clean. We enjoyed seeing so many of the resort teams that we ...met on previous trips. From the minute we stepped off the airport transport van, the bellman and check-in were efficient and welcoming. The check-out team kept us smiling because we didn’t want to leave. We upgraded prior to our trip to beach front swim up rooms in building 27. The rooms were so worth the upgrade, especially given the very windy weather on the beach. Our building concierge Vivi always made sure our requests were responded to in a timely manner and even anticipated a few we didn’t think of. The Preferred Club Beach Bar and Beach Service staff, both day and evening service, were always so wonderful, friendly and provided top-notch service. We enjoyed the evening meals, this trip our most frequented restaurant was Himitsu, which we always love. The lobby bar service evening teams always made sure we were well taken care of. The poolside service is also great. Although the resort is beautiful and always kept so clean, the people who make it all happen are the reason we keep coming back. We are beach lovers and love that we can walk for at least a mile in either direction and feel safe while doing so. I highly recommend this resort.
