The Hilton Hotel still feels like home-where the heart is!

Christine T on Aug 21, 2024

My sister and I went for a week in May for a much-needed visit and had a great time. The Hilton was under construction building their new tower and it was not an issue. A few areas were closed off, including Mira Sol, Sunset Grille and the Aruba tower for a resort touch up. We checked into our room via the Curacao tower. Oscar’s market was relocated to that area, and everything ran smoothly. For a grab and go breakfast, snacks or lunch it was very convenient. The Laguna restaurant served incredible breakfast and dinner options daily. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind with live music each night at dinner. Gilligan’s is still a go to for a warm welcome and a great meal! Seeing the staff made it feel like home again, everyone from the front desk, towel hut, Gilligan’s restaurant and beach bites crew worked seamlessly to ensure all of the guests had a great time. Special shout out-Richard, Maggie, Jurdeka, Magda and Divulo! The casino had a good crowd, and the slots were generous! Can’t wait to go back and see the completion of the renovation. Currently the areas that were closed during our visit are now open for new visitors to enjoy! The Hilton is still the best resort!

Excellent Experience

Andrew D (New York) on Aug 16, 2024

The Hilton Aruba resort provided my family a great vacation this past week. There is construction going on, but don’t let that scare you away. The resort wasn’t super crowded and beach had a lot of seating for guests. The Hilton employees were also very helpful and nice at all times. Also the food truck had great options for lunch. The location is excellent, right across the street are restaurants and shopping.

Breathtaking ???

Angie M on Aug 16, 2024

The Hilton Aruba is definitely the most beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sun and excellent hospitality services from a very friendly staff. Our experience was so amazing every day with friendly staff conversations . Greetings and checking to see if there is anything we can do for you! Definitely treated like family. My husband and I can hardly wait to come back. It was very hard to leave. Location is PERFECT ??

Hilton and beyond!

Vito G (Levittown, New York) on Aug 15, 2024

This Hilton was amazing. So much to do and great location with the family. Traveled with kids and they had nothing but great things to say. Staff went above and beyond and really made eveyone at HOME! The hotel was going under construction but we knew that as they had it on their web site. Food was great and drinks were better! Will def return in the near future. One thing to mention we did take cabs everywhere and the cab driver RANDALL SCANDAL was amazing!!! Hope you run into him - always played great music for the kids.

Mostly great hotel but with one MAJOR flaw that ruined entire experience

MrSpike1976 (Washington DC, District of Columbia) on Aug 07, 2024

PLEASE READ: This is a great hotel on a perfect stretch of beach with very friendly staff and plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance but has one MAJOR flaw that everybody needs to know about. Hotel just renovated one of its "towers" and is in process of renovating others. All rooms in new towers now have thermostats with energy-saving motion sensors which means A/C shuts off while you're sleeping. Hotel has no way of deactivating these motion sensors so we woke up each night sweating and, once we figured out what was going on, had to get up and periodically wave our hands in front of the thermostat during night for A/C to kick back on. This is a TERRIBLE decision by Hilton and even management wasn't aware of the new thermostats until we complained. We got a very small refund on our stay and some points but that doesn't change that we didn't sleep on our vacation. So...if you're somebody that likes to return to a chilly room after a day on the beach or likes it chilly when you sleep DO NOT stay in the new tower (which, unfortunately, is where the newest, renovated rooms are) and, eventually, unless they change their plan, you should not stay in any of the renovated towers.
