My new #1 best luxury resort. Wow.

I cannot have better things to say about this resort. Our trip was fantastic (Banff is beautiful) but the experience at the Fairmont was over-the-top and they deserve some recognition. I started writing up all my praise in detail but massively exceeded the character limit. So I'll just say: amazing property, amazing restaurants (both in number, variety and quality), and amazing staff. Skye at the front desk, Adam our waiter at 1888, our waiter at Rundle's on 12/29 (didn't get his name), the pool bar guy on 1/1, the entire valet team, all deserve some special kuddos for being awesome. 1888 was ridiculously good (now a top-10 in our spoiled list of ridiculously good meals), room was to die for. Hats off the management here because you do not encounter ubiquitous excellence in service without fantastic leadership and a relentless focus on this, in all areas of the resort.

Staying at the Fairmont Banff Springs during the Christmas season was a truly special experience. The hotel's design, reminiscent of a grand castle, certainly sets the stage for a memorable visit. The festive decor has added an extra layer of enchantment, making it easy to feel a sense of wonder while exploring the hotel's impressive grounds. With top-notch facilities including pools, a gym, a spa, and various dining options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The availability of bus passes for Roam makes it convenient for guests to explore town, which is a great bonus. Having a room in one of the towers has been a delightful touch, adding to the overall fairytale-like atmosphere. It's wonderful to have had the pleasure of receiving the superb service from the staff, and it's clear that Rebecca from the Front Desk and Malen Dayrit from Housekeeping played a significant role in making our stay exceptional. Thank you! The service from all the staff we have encountered was superb! Well done to everyone that makes up this beautiful hotel, I will forever cherish this stay. I felt like a Disney princess during my stay here. It's experiences like these that truly define a 5-star stay.
