Give It Another Chance

Ok. Normally, this would be a 1 out of 5 rating but the staff at the Delta pulled me back from the brink. I booked (unfortunately) during major reconstruction and, even worse, during a junior hockey tour...nament where too many teenage boys tormented everyone in the hotel for three days while there parents drank too much and looked the other way. That said, OMG the great staff. Every single one of them deserved a raise. I will go back in a heartbeat. But check to see that their restaurant is really open (it looked liked a bad cafeteria) and there are no hockey tournaments in the hotel. But I'm coming back. The wonderful staff saved the day.

Our first encounter upon our arrival was with Daniel at the front desk. We felt like old friends by the time we departed PEI. He was very knowledgeable re: the area and made excellent recommendations to he...lp us spend our time wisely while visiting. We were impressed when Susan called to share news about the ferry not running that we had mentioned taking to NS and know she saved us hours of extra time on the road which we greatly appreciated. Rovina and Rudy were both very pleasant and helpful with requests. It is evident that the staff exhibits a genuine interest in their guests. Our water view room was spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The Charlottetown hotel was sparkling and beautifully decorated for the holiday season! We appreciate the combined efforts of the staff to make our stay so festive and memorable. A heartfelt "thank you" to all.
