Family-moon Vacation stay!
Wander08774072891 (Seattle, Washington) on May 13, 2025
Fantastic accommodations, super close to the park. A very short walk to the monorail station! Our room was a bit dirty, crumbs and plastic utensil under the furniture. Our phone didn’t work upon arrival an...d finally fixed the day before we left. Stayed for five nights, four days and decided next time we’ll stay at the Pixar place or Grand Californian hotel.
Loud

So yes, the headboard is magical… but I would not stay again. Last night I got back from a full day in the parks ready to sleep. However they were playing Moana right outside, blasting into the rooms with ...loudspeakers. I called the front desk to se if they could turn it down and they suggested I could wear earplugs! (Too loud for that to even help.) So I had to just lay there for an hour, exhausted, waiting for the movie to end. You can see from the mixed reviews that this hotel has issues- I would recommend just staying across the street at a better managed hotel as it is just as close. The wait for the monorail to the parks was 30 minutes the whole time so that wasn’t useful either.
Very loud live music late in downtown Disney! Bad!!

Loud live band in downtown Disney will ruin your sleep. It’s the worst. These live bands play late at night and it hits 2 hotel towers with so much noise past 10pm at night. We want to sleep!! Really bad... design and they did not think about hotel guests at all
Overpriced for what you get

Disneyland Hotel is fine. It's a nice hotel, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom updated. But, the same can be said of dozens of hotels near Disneyland that are much cheaper. A few notes, comparing Disn...eyland Hotel to an unnamed hotel across the street: * The toilet paper is about the same. But, at DH,for the price, I'd expect higher quality toilet paper. They use the cheap tissue. * Free breakfast. Even the hotels across the street, for hundreds less, have free hot breakfast. At DH, it's $65 for breakfast buffet. * Birthday celebrations. Across the street, the hotel staff was so nice, hanging a birthday banner in our room, leaving sparkling cider, a card and even a small gift. Decorating a room at DH? $250 to start. * Walking distance - honestly, the hotels directly across the street are a bit closer. And, you don't have to walk through the absolute zoo that is Downtown Disney. Sure, I suppose if you have kids and want characters at your breakfast. Or, are there one of the few days they actually do early entry to the parks, maybe it's worth it. But, you can get just as good a room, and better toilet paper, across the road.
Worst Coffee provided by Expensive Hotel

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was dated but ok. So disappointed that the coffee offered inside the rooms were HORRIBLE. It tasted like wood bark with soil. Why couldn't they provide decent coffe...e packets in the rooms for the price they charge? Not staying there again.
