This resort is Everything!! It has something for every age group to enjoy. Parents bring your kids and their grandparents. You will all have a great time. The views from the room are awesome and beds are comfy. Plenty of food choices on site and the Taco truck is amazing!! The staff is friendly and attentive. Neil at concierge is thee best and Lesile at bar service is great. Stay here!! We had an absolute ball.

Paradise Found!

luxadventure (Schenectady, New York) on Jul 14, 2024

Margaritaville was the perfect vacation location for a mother/daughter trip. We only stayed for 4 days, but we got to experience a lot of what the hotel had to offer, and we enjoyed every aspect. The view from our oceanfront room was spectacular, and the service was amazing. We had delicious breakfasts at the Margaritaville Restaurant, and Jennifer was an attentive and gracious server. We also had great service at the beach. Our favorite location was the 11th floor adults only pool and bar. We absolutely loved David, and had a great time with him. We got wonderful massages at the spa, and enjoyed the steam room. This resort really feels like paradise, and we cannot wait to return!

This place rocks! You will love it!

My husband and I spent two nights here to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We were not disappointed. Everything about this place is a fantasy. And they do a good job of it. The views from the room are fantastic. The beach is just perfect. Lots of shells. It was nice to get the umbrellas and chaise lounges which are included. The service here is excellent! Couldn't be better. The only thing that didn't live up to the hype was the food. It was nearly awful. But the drinks are wonderful and more than make up for it. They pour heavy which is appreciated since the drinks are expensive. But good, remember? Stay here the next time you visit southeast Florida. It's kind of expensive ($1350.00 for 2 days!) but oh so good. And listening to Jimmy Buffett music 24/7 is an added benefit.

Left a bad impression

Diana N on Jul 06, 2024

The hotel had a good vibe, lobby was beautiful, rooms were clean/fine but could use a refresh (stained bench at end of bed)… We loved Hope at the pool bar- fantastic energy. However, the entertainment was severely lacking. The two main bars had underwhelming bands and should be much more happening given the prime location on the broadwalk. The staff was extremely unhelpful and discourteous when we needed accomodation for a late checkout after spending several thousand dollars for a short stay. Very disappointed with how our stay ended. We paid $172 EXTRA (NO JOKE) for 2 of us to shower in the spa, yet the spa staff were rude to me as if I wasn’t welcome to be there. Joe, one of the hotel managers, was even worse.

Super fun mini-vacation for these first-timers!

LT-Bethesda (St. Augustine, Florida) on Jun 24, 2024

4.25 stars. We just returned from our first visit. My husband is a big Jimmy Buffet fan and has wanted to stay at the resort for years. We went with our 21-year old daughter for a 3-day mini vacation. We got what appeared to be a pretty good FL/GA resident rate for a 1-bedroom suite. Check-in was quick and easy and then we were off to our suite on the 12th floor of the North tower. We liked the location, which was at the end of the hall with no guest rooms on either side. We loved the view, which was a straight shot north and encompassed both the Intracoastal and the ocean. For the most part, we were happy with the way the suite was laid out, although there were a couple of negatives. The bathroom was attached to the bedroom, which was fine, but there wasn't even a mirror in the living area of the suite, which is where our daughter slept. That would have been fine if the bathroom had been split, but it was one big space. That meant that our daughter couldn't use the mirror, brush her teeth, etc. when one of us was in the shower (and vice versa). We also didn't care for the open shower and wished it had an opaque door like the toilet area. Things we liked: -The location. Great spot on the Broadwalk and walking distance to lots of restaurants. -The decor and spaciousness of the lobby. We felt like we were on vacation the minute we walked in. -The number and variety of restaurants and bars. -The nachos at Landshark -The french toast at Margaritaville. -The coffeeshop in the lobby. -The pools, especially the adults-only pool on the 11th floor. -Inclusion of beach loungers and an umbrella on the beach. -Access to the water taxi. Things we didn't like: -Taxes on top of fees on top of other fees. I was a little shocked when I saw the final bill. There were even taxes and fees on the daily resort fee! -Some of the furniture and decor in our room was worn and/or in need of replacement. We ate dinner at JWB to celebrate a special occasion, and overall we had a great experience. I didn't add this one to either of the lists above because while the food, service, and ambiance were great, we felt that the prices were too high. If you're going to charge me $60 for a petite filet, you could at least give me a side (instead of a sad half-head-of-garlic garnish). All things considered, we very much enjoyed our time at MHB and will definitely return. We live in FL, and it's nice to know we can drive a few hours and feel completely AWAY.
