The staff at the hotel outside of the Bell Desk were unfriendly. Phone support staff at the front desk were quite friendly Hidden charges of resort fee ($45 daily) and Parking ($40 daily) were quite the su...rprise at check-in and quite outrageous. The food choices in the restaurant were dismissal. The old food menu was much much better. Ended up eating breakfast next door at Castaway as the menu was so much better and the staff so much more friendly. Overall the hotel was overrated and underwhelming and the cost of the hotel was unreasonably high. The hotel was sold and is managed by a management company and has gone downhill since they have taken over.

Fantastic check in experience - excellent customer service and helpful advice. The room was stunning, clean and comfortable. Didn’t come with a microwave but that’s okay. Pool was clean, quiet and so relax...ing. Wouldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Rooms clean and beautiful view to thre ocean amenities and free music every night and great Lua, property very clean and staff friendly recommended this hotel 100% to vacation on the last week of April goo...d weather every day and good food on the restaurant, breakfast and dining

Great resort , further stay from the main black rock area, but it’s worth it as it’s cheaper but way nicer area than the other hotels that are priced higher, specifically because they’re closer to black ro...ck and whalers village. If i was staying in kaanapali again i would definitely choose to stay in royal lahaina again, i walked through the other resorts and royal lahaina blows all away

Althea was extremely helpful and amazing. Had an excellent stay . excellent room with excellent view would recommend.
