What a shame. Once called The Hotel has now as a W has unfortunately gone into disrepair. Obviously keep the lobby area and other areas of the hotel very dark so not to show the wear. Only one person at c...heck in desk with long line. The elevator makes rubbing noice ( unfortunately next to our room ). The room amenities topped off the attitude. No complimentary coffee. Picked up paper cup looking for coffee only to be charged $16. I travel the world and don’t recall ANY hotel without complimentary coffee / tea in room. The water had no price tag only Drink Up. Once you go to QR code you realize bottled water is $25. Outrageous. It’s a shame what’s happened to a once great property and and especially to the reputation of the W Hotel brand.
Disappointed!!!

The room hallways were dark. The hotel staff was not courteous at all. They were difficult to reach on the phone. The lines to check in and out were insane. Thank goodness for the self help kiosks. But if ...you needed assistance you were in trouble. The plumbing went out in our room the last night of our stay. The water that came out of the faucets was almost like a black soot. We were told that maintenance turned off the water overnight but they didn't alert the hotel guests about that vital information. So by the morning, we couldn't even take showers or baths because of the state of the water. But they did expect us to check out on time regardless. The hotel fees are nothing short of ridiculous. The coffee shop downstairs is convenient, but the employees/baristas were rude and dismissive. When the floor was being mopped anywhere in the hotel, there was never a "wet floor" warning sign, which was a real hazard. The rooms could have been cleaner. And previous guests most likely left broken furniture, grease spots, and carpet spots that should have been addressed by the cleaners or housekeeping. Hence why we reluctantly felt the need to take photos of the problems within the room so that we weren't blamed for any of it. We wanted to love this place, but sadly that wasn't our experience.
