DO NOT GO HERE

Alexis H on Jul 20, 2024

My sister and I chose this hotel because we were promised early check-in, a larger room (both subject to availability), and complimentary access to the spa's wet areas. Upon arrival, we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another hour, which we accepted. During our wait, a friendly gentleman pitched a sister hotel, reminiscent of a timeshare (caution: they're involved with timeshares; look it up if unfamiliar). After a 40-minute presentation, we went for a walk, leaving our luggage at reception under surveillance. Returning an hour later, we found our luggage unattended. We took it ourselves and returned to check-in, only to be told another 30-minute wait. Despite our 3 PM check-in time, it was now 5:20 PM. After inquiring again, we were told the room needed 30 more minutes for cleaning. Finally, stressing our check-in time got the room ready in 10 minutes, but it smelled of strong chemicals, possibly covering a moldy odor. The next day, leaving for breakfast, I found our door wouldn't lock. Maintenance fixed it while I requested a new room due to security concerns. Despite being assured our room was fixed with no alternatives, I insisted, citing the abandoned luggage and improper door latch discovered that night. The following day, we visited the spa for our promised access. Initially questioned, we had to show our reservation and wait 15 minutes for confirmation. During our sauna time, a masseuse enforced time limits and pushed additional services, charging us for a stained towel on departure. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a relaxing, customer-friendly trip. Paying for a pleasant experience should guarantee better service. Additionally, salespeople constantly pitch tours outside the resort. Check Yelp for reviews before dining; many guests report illness, and dining areas were largely empty.

Great Time in Cabo

Melinda P on Jul 20, 2024

Had an awesome time at this resort. The entertainment coordinator Hugo was awesome. We played black jack and Loteria. My daughter participated in a cornhole tournament on Hugo’s team and had a lot of fun. He showed her how pool volleyball too. He was absolutely wonderful and made our stay there that much better. Jennifer and jerson were also great making sure you always had a drink or food if needed. Definitely a great place to stay and a great location too. There is a mall with a grocery store amd a Walmart near by for anything you may have forgot or need. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Hugo is the all star

Hugo is amazing and made our trip so fun. If you get a chance to come see Hugo at the pool he will give your family such a fun experience. Hugo played black jack with us and did pool aerobics with us. We had such a blast. Definitely a good time for the whole family.

Hugo is the best we played black jack for prizes and he’s always bringing the good energy playing games around the pool all day long. Jerson always on top of it brings us drinks back to back. Angel is amazing always asking if we need anything. 10/10 experience

Friendly staff, great pool, perfect location!

JJKT (Tacoma, Washington) on Jul 15, 2024

Honest review with some info to keep in mind. We are from the Pacific Northwest in the United State for reference. We did not do the all-inclusive option. Staff are wonderful and do their very best to try to accommodate your requests. The on-site restaurants were very good so if you do the all-inclusive, you will still have great dining experiences which is not always the case at other resorts. I love the main pool here. It might be my favorite pool I have ever swam in. It was the perfect temperature and it is deep but has some standing areas and a swim up bar. Leonel is the guy who will give you great recommendations. Trust his guidance, he listens to you and he knows his stuff. Marisol was also very sweet and helped us book some experiences. I highly recommend the luxury sailing. It was outstanding! You will be asked to go through a 90 minute presentation about the owners club at their newer property. We did it because we got the sailing at a great deal in exchange however the 90 presentation starts at the end of the tour so you're going to be there for at least 4 hours - the peoplewere nice but the sales pitch went on, and on, and on. We brought my parents and my dad is physically disabled which is a huge challenge anywhere you go in Mexico but Cabo seemed to be a bigger challenge than PV. This is an older hotel so you need to be okay with that. AC can barely keep up everywhere we went but it was mid 90's the entire trip. This was our first trip to Cabo and after seeing the area and other hotels, we were very glad we stayed here. When we come back to Cabo, we will stay here again. It's not a new 5 star resort but the staff treats you like it is. Shout out to Jerson at the pool, he was wonderful. Rooftop bar and staff were so nice that we stopped up there for a drink each night. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here.
