This is a 70+yr resort with a lot of character. Great jamaican vibe. Location is second to none, on the beach, anchored at one end of the "hip strip". Rooms are clean, plenty of variety of food (all inclusive). Very easy to do day trip to either Ocho Rios or Negril and just 5 minutes from the airport! Okay, the hiccups. The rooms are dated, this is a solid 3 star out of five star resort. If you are expecting 5 star services & facilities, it's not. What you do get is a laid back, casual, fun atmosphere with great vibes from the staff. Additional benefit: you can use the sister resort, Cornwall Beach, beach, bars and restaurants! November 17th, renovation will include common area flooring, changing from door key to card key, room remodeling. Not sure of ADA features. Great is an under statement. Never a dull moment with entertainment and the food was excellent. I'm already thinking of booking a next visit. Experience is unforgettable. The staff made you feel welcoming. It's like home away from home. I recommend.
