Family stay

Just finished a great stay here, we are a family of 3 and stayed in the 2 double beds suite for 6 nights. We are not fancy people, and this hotel is a great option for people on a budget who want to visit... Atlantis, as well as people who want a quieter place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big hotels. The lobby/pool/common areas/grounds are well kept, the flowers and plants are pretty, everything was clean, the staff were all so nice and helpful and clearly work hard! If you need a taxi just go to the front desk and they will call one and they’ll be there within minutes. They will also store your luggage on your last day if you have time to kill. We filled up ice daily for our cooler from the ice machines. Yes the rugs in the hallways are older, but unless you plan on rolling around on the ground in the hallway, who cares?! Our room was clean, updated, there was no bad smell, the AC worked great, it had just enough space for the 3 of us. The beds/pillows were comfy, the water pressure was good enough, we always had hot water, the water did not smell or make my hair feel weird. It was nice to have the couch area to sit in. I wish there was a patio with a little space to sit outside and dry our bathing suits (there are a few rooms with outside space on the ground level) but we managed (there is a clothes line in the shower). We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the front entrance and it was a great spot near the front stairs, we did not mind the walk to exit to Atlantis. The hotel was quiet during the week, a little busier near the weekend. You get 2 water bottles daily, and we tipped daily and received a few more and also supplemented that with a case of 24 water bottles from the Village Grocery and never ran out of water. The fridge worked excellent and kept things very cold, even slightly frozen, much better than most hotel fridges! There is a single serve Keurig type coffee maker (only used to make hot water for an instant soup cup). We took advantage of the breakfast and coffee every day, which was basic but good, and is a huge time saver having it right there and being able to eat early (they open at 7) and head out to an excursion/to the waterpark at 8:30 to beat the cruise crowds/get chairs/ride slides early. You can sit inside or outside, the birds did not bother us outside, bring a coverup for inside. The fruit is melons every day (tasty and fresh), so for more variety we picked up some bananas and apples at the Village Grocery. We had dinner at Crusoe’s and everything was good, it was my son’s favorite meal of the week, so convenient having this dinner option right on site. They play relaxing music outside in the morning, and some more lively tunes at night, we enjoyed it! The location of the hotel is fantastic, a quick walk to the plaza with the stores/groceries, a quick walk to the Marina, and not far to the main Atlantis area. It is easy to get the waterpark wrist bands daily, in the Royal lobby downstairs near the Barbie thing, maybe waited 10 minutes once. You present your orange comfort suites card and an ID (you can bring your driver license, or take a photo of your passport and show them). We had a great time at the waterpark, pools, and beaches (bring your snorkels!), there is so much to do and explore. We booked our stay direct on the Comfort Suites website using points. When you book with points, the extra fees are not included and you have to pay at check in, and it gives you a total on your booking receipt. However, this amount does NOT include the additional $7 per person/per day cleaning fee, so we actually had to pay an additional $84 on top of the amount shown on the booking receipt (kids 11 and under are free so we did not have to pay a 3rd). In the end, it was still a great value and worth it. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Javal (Javan?) at the front desk got us checked in right away and is such a pleasant and personable young man! We stayed in Room 210 which was a nice suite and kept immaculate. The free Breakfast buffet ha...d everything you needed to start your day off right. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Atlantis and you get your FREE bracelet every day to enjoy and use their facilities!!! The Pool at Comfort Suites is super clean and lots of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The Manger's Rum Punch party Monday, Wednesday and Friday serves a nice drink. So all and all a GREAT STAY AT COMFORT SUITES PARADISE ISLAND!

I feel I should be gate keeping this place. We arrived at 1ish and were checked in and given our room. The trip was starting right. Front desk was friendly and efficient. We got ready and headed over to At...lantis where we went to the designated desk in the Royal and were given our wrist bands. We had to do this each day and the longest we waited was 15 minutes….once. The room is super dated, like 1990s….but was clean and the hotel overall felt safe. The location was also great because I found we almost always ended our night at the Marina which was just across the street. Breakfast was adequate. It had plenty of hot options and a fair selection. We found breakfast was a great way to start the day and found it super convenient. When we walked through Atlantis all the breakfast outlets had lines and we had already had a hot breakfast we didn’t have to line up for. We took the Atlantis shuttle a few times as it stops at the Marina village for drop off. We ate at the Four Seasons and took the shuttle both ways. We didn’t make any reservations for dinner and always found a place to eat. The Wendy’s down the street was quick and inexpensive. Carmines portions are so large we had left overs the next day. Shake shack and Marina Pizza are easy options too. We had drinks one night at the hotel, my kids loved being in the lit up gazebo. Most reviews talk about how expensive Bahamas is but if you go with realistic expectations you will not have any sticker shock. I mentioned the hotel room is super dated (because you really need to be okay with this) but the grounds are well taken care of and beautiful. We used taxis to and from the airport $65 each way 4 people 4 bags. Not sure if that is good or bad, but that’s what I paid. As a family of 4 we saved over $1000 from staying on site at the Coral, and who know how much we saved from the free breakfast, but I’m guessing it’s significant. I will be returning and talking about this place to anyone that will listen.

Great Hotel with impressive amenities! I would confirm it's the Best Comfort Suites we have been to. Staffs were excellent and friendly especially Gerard who made us feel welcomed the first night we were t...here. Sonia checked us is with a great introduction and friendly smile. Shillian showed us how to get to Atlantis waterpark and gave us some tips to buy water at the market right next door. Bronson, Embria, Crystal, and Juliet were all so friendly and helpful! We would recommend any tourist to this hotel for comfortable stay and fine dining. Not to mention when you stay here you get to enter Atlantis waterpark for free! Breakfast were free and great variety of food and fruits.
