Knotts hotel definitely got us in a twist

So let’s talk front of house. George and Hannah were amazing, George was telling us all the best spots to go and try, Hannah was very friendly and polite. We booked that hotel as it was in a great location with a pool, however when we arrived we found out that the pool was out of order. Yet no one told us. When we had room service they wouldn’t remake the bed because it had a hair brush on but they could make the other with a bag on. The sheets wasnt changed either & the sides wasn’t wiped. When we arrived no one was there to help us with our bags but we watched others get help. Starbucks was nice though.

As always we enjoyed our stay at the Knotts Hotel. The hotel is always clean and inviting. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The update rooms and renovations have added even more charm and made the hotel feel more modern. We have stayed at this hotel every time we come to Knotts and it never disappoints.
Berry hotel

We stayed during the Halloween events so the courtyard area had cool decorations and smoke machines where we took photos. The lobby area is very nice, I think it had all been refurbished recently. I love how it smells like berries everywhere and the toiletries in the room also smell of berries. Room was nice and quiet, not much of a view but a quick walk to the park. Staff were great. We got room service for breakfast and it was a lot of food. The room had a fridge but no microwave. The pool was closed for maintenance unfortunately but this was made clear at the time of booking, still felt like a good deal to me. So much easier to have a short walk to the car at the end of a day at the park.
Nice renovation but food options let it down

They have done well with the renovation - the reception area, common areas and rooms look and feel great. The staff were very friendly and helpful as you would expect at a theme park resort. Obviously location is perfect for Knott’s Berry Farm. But I have to say I was underwhelmed by the in-house dining options. We had dinner at Thirty Acres on our first night - we were tired after our travel day from south east USA. We both chose burgers and to be honest, I was disappointed. The burger meat appeared to be a pre-packaged frozen patty - quite tasteless. Our rate included a buffet breakfast at Thirty Acres and I felt it was real low class - more like a chain motel free breakfast when it should be a resort style quality breakfast with superior options. What made it more obvious was passing the lovely array of bakery options at the coffee shop (available for purchase) that were not available at the buffet.
Great location for local attractions

The hotel has been recently updated, so everything is fresh but it still has an old hotel feeling to the rooms. Loud air conditioner and a running toilet (the toilet was promptly fixed when brought to the hotels attention). Doing laundry required download of an app and after encountering multiple issues the hotel manager ended up letting me use her laundry card and I paid her the cash. Front desk staff was great and attentive. Shuttle to Disney was a bonus. I would recommend this hotel as a safe, clean place with great proximity to the amusement park and other local attractions
