Stayed 5 nights in this hotel . Made it as a base for our Orlando summer vacation. Highlighting the good stuff : location near Universal , Premium Outlets , Several Restaurants and a convenience store. Room was spacious , cold AC temp , comfortable bed . Several food outlets inside the hotel , such as Starbucks , American Grill , Pizza Takeaway , Sunshine Coffee Shop , Souvenir store that works late night and a gelato corner . Vending stations and ice machines . Delicious breakfast buffet . Not So Good : seems near Universal but actually it is a long walk . 20 minutes stroll . Better to have chosen Hard Rock instead . Others such as Disney , NASA entails long drives. After the park tours where we get late dinner or waited for fireworks , we arrive at the hotel to see the F&B outlets closed . Ended up mobile ordering for delivery. Unlike Hilton and Conrad where bell staff always on hand to help with the luggages, Doubletree doesn’t provide one . It was as if you have to beg for these services. Front desk doesn’t exude the friendly vibes , one got to smile after knowing that I am not bringing my car for her to find my designated parking space . Inconsistent housekeeping, one day we ask no one came, other day we didn’t ask some one fixed the room. I don’t get it. Only 2 bottles of water which are free when we arrived . The next 2 comes when we are about to check out . No complimentary famous Doubletree chocolate chip cookie upon checking in. I guess it was a long time since they made changes. Unlike Embassy Suites and Hampton which offer complimentary buffet breakfast, this hotel brand charges you for it . The reason I am giving it a better score is because of their breakfast crew named Vinh .. he really took care of us , and we miss him the last few days of our stay .

We were greeted with smiles and they couldn’t help us enough. Kaina was at the front desk she was so helpful and friendly as well as ash who helped us with our bags. Great asset to the hotel Thank you for a fantastic welcome and beautiful accommodations. There was also a gentlemen who helped me print something out but unfortunately I did not get his name. Thank you again and would definitely come back

My room was infested with bed bugs. I was bitten all over and could not sleep peacefully. I had to throw away my clothes and Suite case as I don't want to infest my home with their bugs. It is the worst Hilton hotel that I have ever stayed at. What a shame for the name Hilton. The room number was 1029. Someone else already posted similar infestation problem with bed bugs. When I reported my bed bug problem at check out, the security told me to fill out an insurance form and wait 2 weeks for their response. However, it is already 3 weeks and I have heard nothing. I left them my infested suite case with all my clothes and belonging.

Had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree. My family and I went to Universal had a wonderful time. One of the best parts of the trip was Cynthia’s customer service. She was kind, efficient, and wonderful. We also enjoyed the bartenders at the American Grill within the resort. Definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is a great location if you don’t wish to drive being a walkable distance to Universal studios and the premium outlets. Our room although a little dated with noisy air conditioning, it was clean with a nice view. What made our stay really enjoyable was the hotel staff who were polite and friendly. But a special mention must go to Carrie in the Sports bar and grill and Vinny in the Sunshine café whose service was exceptional, both are an asset to the hotel. A wonderful stay and we would return to this hotel for future stays in Orlando.
