Couldve been better!

Gen_solotraveler (Brooklyn, New York) on Jul 13, 2024

The staff did not speak English, and it was minimal if they did. The service at the buffet was awful. some nights I had to get up to find someone for a napkin, water, etc. The food area was not properly maintained and clean during meal time. The pool area was not properly maintained and cleaned either, stepped on a chicken nugget in the pool.

Very pleased

the Hotel Bahía Príncipe Gran Turquesa and I am delighted with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel facilities are nice. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for during their stay. Although it is true that the rooms are old, they are clean and fulfill their function perfectly. One of the things that captivated me the most was the variety and quality of the dining options. The hotel restaurants offer a wide range of delicious dishes, from local cuisine to international flavours. The delicious liquor, the Gin Tonic that I have had leave me dizzy haha. Customer service is exceptional. The staff was always happy to help and goes out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. From the front desk staff to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants, everyone is friendly, professional, and goes out of their way to make me feel welcome and satisfied. I recommend the hotel, it is wonderful, excellent themed restaurants, recommended and with respect to the fact that it is far away without such large hotels, there is transportation all the time, and it is also good to walk to get down a little from everything we eat. We wanted to take Campari, there was no and The next day they had very good attention

I love bahia

My vacation at this hotel was very pleasant. I was able to enjoy the disco and the rooms were super comfortable. I could sleep like a child. The entertainers did a good job, always attentive and always striving to ensure that I had a good vacation. I want to return, but for more days I'm disappointed. I sing a lot, I really fill all my skills

Loved our stay

Mirona77 (Hoffman Estates, Illinois) on Jun 15, 2024

My 7-day stay in June 2024 with family and two other friend families was really nice. The food was quite varied and tasty. Room was clean and big. Yes, some furniture items need to be replaced at some point, but there’s remodeling happening in a neighboring Bahia Principe, so I’m sure they’ll get to the Turquesa soon. All staff was always ready to help and always had a smile on their face. A very small misunderstanding was resolved very quickly and in a very elegant manner by Carlos, the manager. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, especially the kids in our group.

Stay Away From This Place

sapodeflorida (Deltona, Florida) on Jun 01, 2024

This was the vacation from hell. The first room we were assigned was dirty and both the air conditioning and the refrigerator did not work. The room was dirty and in urgent need of renovation. The tiles were dirty, there was mold everywhere and the furniture and walls were scratched. The bathroom was disgusting, dirty and there was mold in the bathtub. Finally we had to ask that they have to change our room (which they didn't want). The first day and after spending 13 hours traveling and waiting for rooms, we collapsed into bed and woke up at 9:45 p.m. I went to the buffet and was denied entry because they had closed 3 minutes before. When I explained what had happened and that my wife was disabled and that I needed to bring her something to eat, they told me that NOTHING could be taken out of the buffet area, so that first night we went to bed hungry. There were mosquitoes everywhere (yes, even in the rooms). We had to sleep completely covered up to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes, but I still have more than 40 bites on each leg. The buffet was full of flies, some landing on the cutlery, glasses and even the food. The food was always cold and the milk for cereal was room temperature (not cold). Upon check out, there was a roach on the wall, and when I pointed it out to the employee, he continued the checkout process as if there was nothing unusual. It was our first time at this resort (and in Punta Cana), and I can assure you it will be our last.
