A large group of young American students on spring break was enough to ruin this stay. A hotel that is not up to the task of handling the problems, disturbances, and various disturbances caused by them. A ...customer service department that is absent, ineffective, and willing to lie to resolve the problem. No, I do not recommend this hotel. However, I would like to point out that the room service and bar/restaurant staff are up to the task.

What an amazing resort. All the workers were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible, every night there was something different and many options at the buffet. The cafe served really good coffee..., and the bars as well. The resort itself is surrounded by so much nature, there were countless palm trees on the beach and wildlife. So many activities were available multiple times a day. Yoga on the beach, aqua gym, archery, bikes, kataraman, windsurfing classes (all included), parties at the sports club, live performances... we were never bored. The location was close to Fifth avenue, Tulum, some cenotes and snorkeling with turtles which we really enjoyed. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, balcony view was amazing. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend for a family vacation, we will definitely love to come back in the future.

Omar and Uciel was amazing! A new food experience for us! We are very grateful for their attention. The food is great. We taste hummus and cammarons. Omar give us an very interesting introduction about Mex...ican food and mezcal/tequila drinks. A Great place to have a nice dinner! Thank you!

We stayed for a week in Viva Maya (2 adults and a 6 year old) and it was beautiful. Staff was great, special thanks to Victor, Marco and Armando at the buffet La Terraza who where super nice to our family.... I enjoyed chatting with them came diner time. Thank you. The room was great and cleaned every day. The resort also seemed spotless. Beach was great, easy to get a chair in the shade. The Maya café was amazing for a great coffee in the morning. Kid and wife enjoyed the daily night shows and performers in the evening. I could go on but overall we really enjoyed our time.

Returned for our 5th time to this wonderful resort. Such attention to making our stay rememberable. Always something to find to eat. They buffet at the beach area has really good homemade fire pizzas. ... The specialty restaurants, Mexican and Mediterranean where our favorites. Shows are the same as other resorts, with the staff putting long hours of practice to make sure you enjoy yourself. Last, the real reason anyone comes is the beach. So tranquil and beautiful. Our family did enjoy the fact they no longer allow food to be brought down to the beach. Very few seagulls flying over head.?? Our favorite beach area waiter/bartender Antonio was there to greet us warmly and remembered us, and ask about our family who where not there. That is says something that he can remember personal things about us after the amount of people he serves in a years time.. We will be back next year! Please don't hesitate to book this resort. I've always said a vacation is what you make if it. Sit backing a lounger and enjoy the breeze and ocean. ??????
