Location was excellent for what we wanted to do. The staff were friendly, courteous, respectful, attentive.

,The breakfast was not up to the standards we usually encounter at Best Western. The food choices were very basic. In addition, the dining room was way too small for the number of guests. We stood and waited for tables for unreasonable amount of time on 2 of the 4 days. In fact, the last day we left without breakfast because we ran out of time. The room bathroom needs updating. Having a small sink in an extremely small area out of the main bathroom makes it challenging for family members to have any privacy.
Fun for the whole family.

Nice clean rooms, helpful customer service, good breakfast and staff. Kids had a blast in the hotel. Very family friendly. Parking is a little tough but nothing too crazy. Good location and close to beaches and zoo. Would definitely book again
Clean and comfortable!

Nice, affordable clean place including the pool with attentive staff. The elevators are small but very fast, no problem waiting. The beakfast was great and the eating area spacious. Our television stopped working at around 10:30 PM, they replaced it with a new one in under 30 minutes. Awesome!
Good self serve breakfasts and very friendly staff.

Very comfortable beds. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and the hot breakfast options were very good. I would stay here again. The only thing to note is there is not a restaurant for lunch or dinner in the hotel so you have to drive to one or have delivery.
Close to many San Diego attractions

We stayed here for a few nights in the King Bed and Bunk Bed room. It was nice having a sliding door separating the beds. It’s like creating a two bedroom. There is separate AC control for each sleeping area to adjust temp in each area. Free daily breakfast was great and a plus. Pool was nice and not too cold. Parking was very convenient. Bathroom sink area was a bit small, not enough counter space. Toilet and bath/shower area was decent size. The room had a musty wet towel smell, which was the worst part. Bedding was just ok. Bring your own if you need more neck support. You also have to make your own beds in the bunks. They just leave the sheets and blanket on top, and you do the rest. Overall, the place did its job in providing a decent place to stay overnight while you visit the Zoo, Aquarium, Balboa Park, Carrillo Nat’l Monument. It’s close to many tourist spots.
