Lost and Found
At WestJet, we understand that sometimes things can get misplaced during your journey. Rest assured, we're committed to assisting you in locating your lost items. Our policy is to hold onto any found items from our aircraft for 14 days following your flight. Please provide us with details about your lost item, and we'll do our utmost to assist you.
Lost and Found exception airports
If you lost a personal item in a lounge, a terminal, or onboard an arriving aircraft into any of the following airports, please visit that airport's associated lost and found site to report your lost item.

Lost passport?
- WestJet is not permitted to retain passports.
- Any passports found will be turned over to the appropriate authority as outlined in the Government of Canada website.
Where else can you look?
- Items left in the airport public areas such as restrooms, boarding lounges, restaurants and security are turned over to the local airport authority.
- If your item was left on one of our partner airlines, you will need to follow up with them.
