Nicest crew of all!

The hotel is a little more run down than when we were here 5 years ago but the staff more than makes up for it. We were on the 7th floor(room 2724) and had a comfortable bed and nice view of the ocean. Our ceiling fan didn’t work and we didn’t always have hot water or any water but the front desk was very helpful. The food at the French restaurant was the best by far. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was romantic. We were welcomed to the hotel by a familiar face in Jesus, our bell boy. He always goes above and beyond to take care of our needs. Adriana, who cleaned our room, always greeted us with a warm smile and did a great job cleaning and stocking the room. Also, a big shout out to Maria, Jerry and Carlos in the 8th floor cafe. They were so welcoming and always had big smiles when we came in. So bottom line is the hotel is about a 3 but the staff is an absolute 10!

Jesus…. Absolutely fantastic!! So helpful!! Thank you Jesus!! Big shout out to Carlos, Jerry and Maria in the 8th floor lounge…. You guys made this trip wonderful!! Gabriel at the adults only pool was so kind and helpful! Food in the French restaurant was the absolute highlight of the trip! Wish I didn’t wait till the last night to try this place, I would have gone every night! The rest of the food was generally bland and on the colder side. The desserts were actually terrible. The pools were freezing, could only really enjoy the hot tub at the adults only section. Overall it was a lovely trip, with a few issues… the staff members were the ones that made it all worthwhile! Could not beat the incredible views!
