Traveled to Dreams Playa Mujeres November 2024 with my husband, two teenage children (aged 13 & 14), and my parents. We found the faculty to be very clean, including all common areas, restaurants/bars, rooms, and beach area. The staff was constantly cleaning and restocking, and the faculty appeared well maintained. The staff was very friendly and professional, always looking for ways to make sure you had everything you needed. As with other all-inclusive resorts, I found the food to be just OK, especially the buffet, but my kids loved it. The Gaucho restaurant was quite good, but Fushion was a bit lackluster for me. I would definitely recommend this resort to others.
WORST resort I’ve stayed at EVER

This might be a long review so try and stay with me. This resort was the worst customer service we as a group of 50+ friends and family have ever experienced. We travelled to this resort for a wedding and let me tell you. It’s a massive scam and money grab. The front desk is friendly until you have a concern or issue…then they become aggressive/nasty and are ABSOLUTELY not accommodating. We had multiple incidents where the staff would not help and after paying 2500$ for a 5 star resort you would expect to have better service. I’ve stayed at resorts all through Mexico, Cuba and Dominican ranging from 3-5 star and this is the WORST one. 1. Restaurants were awful and you can’t book reservations, so most nights you have to wait 2+ hrs to get a table. 2. Can’t play with any games or sports unless it’s after 4pm 3. They won’t serve you if you don’t tip largely 4. Amstar is awful and won’t accommodate your transport if your flight is delayed. 5. Everything is a money grab The one good thing I’ll say is the bartenders and servers at tides were lovely. I would love to list the many details that we encountered but I’ll be here all day :)
