Please do not waste your time and money on this resort. Aesthetically it is beautiful and the property is small enough to get around which is nice. The food is a 3/10 - the buffet, the lunches, the overall selection not good. The French restaurant was good- but adults only unless you buy $100 wine like they told us too to then get a private room so us and the kids could eat. Ridiculous. The buffet is gross but you can find a few key items like yogurt, pancakes etc Do. Not. Get. Preferred. Nobody checks and it’s a rip off. The preferred lounge shuts down at 10:00 and they kick you out if you are trying to watch the football game on Sunday/Monday The staff is miserable. The grotto bar bartender was so unhappy and did not enjoy servicing us. At the larger pool the bartender was only one person so you wait at the swim up bar for a long time for a drink. The pools are like hot tubs- very hot no cool water The rooms are decent but the outdoor patios/bathtub are run down We were there for 7 days and there was 12 weddings. So loud- so many people and the same music every night you will want to cry if you hear I’ve got a feeling one more time by the end The beach is gorgeous- gorgeous sand beautiful ocean We ate fettuccine and salad bar for 7 days that’s it. Drinks were so gross - Pillows terrible I do not recommend staying here

Overall we had a lovely week at Dreams. Pros: We were traveling with two couples and 3 kids total, so we opted for the Presidential Suite which is preferred club status. It’s a huge suite - both bedrooms were very spacious and the living room area is humongous. The wrap around balcony is amazing and the jacuzzi is a bonus. The bar in the preferred club lounge is amazing. We loved the lazy river but no one actually checked if we were preferred before entering. Our concierge, Omar, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all week. He reserved Bali beds for us everyday and handled dinner reservations and more. He was incredible. Food was decent throughout. Not amazing but fairly solid. Con: our room was in block 7 which overlooks the activities pool. So it was loud. Not just during the day but the week we were there there was a wedding every night with music blasting until 10 or 1030pm, which is very difficult when you’re traveling with small kids. When we called the front desk to complain they said there was nothing they could do. Overall, it was a great week in the sun, but if we do decide to return, I would consider renting one of the villas over by the lazy river area to avoid the noisy late night parties.
