Wonderful Waikiki location

Don't let the plain, low-ceilinged hallway in the Princess Tower worry you, the ocean views from the 10th floor are magnificent. The room hasn't been upgraded, but it's very large, with super comfy beds an...d sheets. The lanai is plenty big for two chairs and a small table and is very lovely to sit on. The hotel is one block from the swimmable beach and within walking distance to countless shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location, great staff but the room was not awesome

So I just spent 8 nights in this hotel, the staff were fantastic, the location is great but our room was not brilliant. It was clean and tidy however we were put in a room with not one but two adjoining do...ors to the rooms in either side of us. The issue is that there is zero noise insulation and as such I was woken every morning by people coughing, blowing their noses and other noises we don’t want to talk about. Unfortunately this was not a one or two morning issue, it happened every morning. Going to sleep was a similar experience with people talking, yelling and again other noises that we shall not talk about. To top it off our room opened not the elevator landing so we got to hear everyone leaving or coming back from the days activity. I would not avoid the hotel however if you get one of these rooms I would strongly recommend that you see if it could be changed.
